Spent many summer school holidays in the late 70s and early-mid 80s there, lovely town. Few things stick in my head...The Frying Irishman on the square, Siggy Bowmans (I think) tackle shop, Lawler's, and I think, the Devonshire Hotel? Oh....and the pubs...lots of them. My grandfather (who loved the pubs, lol.. pretty sure his favourite was The Moorings??? ) and my great uncles were from there...Thomas Terrace if I remember correctly.
