Beautiful. She reminds me a bit of my own maternal grandmother here in Northern Germany (who turned 91 this year). Old, widowed, but still bright in her head and very sturdy, still living by herself and only needing some basic help from us. Many people do not appreaciate their elders, although they have a ton of wisdom and experience to share and pass on. Thank you for making this portrait.
