I'd love your opinion because I think Bittersweet sounds more like a title track. It's sound leans more towards Do or Die, but with dark harmonies. If you ever get the chance to see the choreo, BBT outdid themselves working illusions into the choreo--it's really cool (and most of those parts don't show in the MV).
I just never understood the title "Witch" when they really didn't say witch until the end in the lyrics?! But at the end it says "Be Witch" which is a play on words for bewitch! Makes more sense! And then you added more understanding with the Korean explanation of the true meaning of their words as a warning and the asking of "Where is your location!" I love the creativity of writers and composers and choreographers along with the producers, lighting effects, outfitters, and editors! I love that this came out right around Halloween too! Thanks for your great reaction and explanations! It really helped!
14:12 idk if i'm right because i just thought of this but, in my country there is a folktale which tells you a way to know if someone's a witch: you need to put open scissors under someone's seat and if they can't stand up, that means they're a witch. i doubt it's related but i thought it was interesting
Thanks for checking out xikers comeback! Witch is quite different from their previous title tracks and it took me a moment to get used to it, but now I love it! The spooky concept is cool and though it’s ‘darker’ and different, it still plays into their mischievous/playful vibes quite well! The choreo and the performances are also amazing as always and made me enjoy the song even more! And if you enjoyed the more aggressive rapping, I think you’ll LOVE your fave Minjae’s rap in their promoted bside Bittersweet (and it’s even better live)! 😊
There were a lot of things to love about both the song and the music video, but I think my favorite part was Hunters smile and the choreography during "peek a boo"
I didn't really like this one until i heard the 'Fury' version. It's the same song, but the production goes SO much harder. I am someone who got a little left behind with their last release. Rockstar and the entirety of the following How to play EP were my jam. Trial and Error missed my taste with the exception of Break a Leg. Having another version of witch that appealed more to me made me happy. Would love to know your thoughts on it if you listen.
I didn’t realize they released an alt version of it and I agree, the fury version is great. I also prefer harder sounding songs. I prefer Bitterswet over Witch but the fury version of Witch is imo a much better orchestration.
there was actually a moment when a pair of scissors cut the screen at the end of the red sun performance vid. I feel like im the only one that remembers that bit. Still dont know the implications behind the scissors tho

Might not be directly related to Witches in their lore, but this is definitely intriguing! All the scissor imagery must mean something important
