@@shazmin I agree completely. I wanted to see the snake friend get screwed over and if his wife ever found out that he was in love with the MLs ex wife. He was cheating so did the wife leave him? Did she even find out? And when did Ae Ran I believe her name was agree to let the ML go? She wanted him for her daughter like BIG TIME! These were crucial parts of the story and yet we saw nothing of how it all got worked through. I also wouldn't have minded if the leads got to touch or maybe share a kiss lol. I get that he fell for her because of how motherly she is and kind but when exactly did she start falling for him? I guess when he helped her expose the crazy woman? It's hard for me to feel the connection and love when the couple didn't even get to express it much to each other. I do love both the actor and actress though. They have awesome chemistry but it was kinda wasted...
They didn't need to express their feelings, everything was told through their eyes , I really like their Chemistry ❤️ and am Glad they were finally together in the end . Hope we see them more in Season 2

There better be a Season 2 and it better start with them at the altar and her answering him and perhaps she can say she wants to date him and get to know him a bit better (even if you believe they know each other well with all they went through) and let the two of them play that out before they get married. That way we'll get to see them kissing and holding each other rather than bang, they're married. Let's see some foreplay...

They're both lonely characters in pain and they simply gravitate to each other and both of them functionally good together. Hyung-ju actually listened to her and she opened up to him more than Cha Seok-jin did who she treated as a close friend (and the first man who betrayed her and thus she never get vulnerable to him).
