Man oh man did I enjoy your video. And the fact that your a younger black man getting the job done, amazing. Proud of you keep up the good work. What brand of equipment do you use?
Haha I definitely walked infront if the kicker! And LG was there to yell at me and tell me what I did wrong! This is awesome info and so helpful thank you for making very informative video
Great video! Thanks for sharing that. What was your process like getting a photography job for the NFL? How did you go about landing that? Did you have connections prior or did you seek out an internship? Im a freelance photographer and am looking to do something like this.
It happens how would you know if no one ever told you. I think I was so excited when i got my first one I was excited to post it but now knowing why it's not allowed it makes sense. I'm sure you wont make the mistake again and you will be back out there soon!
a long time ago.....when our county had access to police and fire dispatches, a "known" idiot heard of an accident on the main highway. what he did was to descend downhill on a slope nearby the accident scene and start to take pictures....the cops questioned him and he told them he shot for the "HA". They followed up on that and found out that he was just an ambulance chaser and did NOT work for the paper. The editor found out, and was very upset.....enough that he ordered city desk and the photo gang NOT to accept any of this dude's stuff if he does send anything in. On the flipside, I also do similar BUT know the laws AND respect them.....thats why that newspaper's photo editor favored me because I dont do dumb things!
Hi Lemar! Tks for the advice. Most probably will never 'shoot' NFL, but I do Rugby and I am sure that will apply it, as well, if not to sports in general. As a professional that the way to behave once on the field. Cheers
@@LemarGriffinfilms :) didn't move to YT as I am still pretty busy with photography, editing and my main platform is IG. I don't want to look as a 'hunter for followers', so if you can leave your IG I will follow and drop a DM to let you know. Cheers!
The Live Content Correspondent (LCC) program takes NFL fans on social as close as they can get to the NFL without wearing a helmet. This year due to Covid we capture content from the stands and get it out for fans on Social. Know that not a super long answer hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Good information...Ive always wanted to be part of NFL photography for the Packers. I wanted to know. How did you get started? I want to keep learning and growing. I get enough people assuming that I'm just a crazy fan cause I'm excited about what I want to do with my life. I don't wanna give up.
Any tips for getting into this work? I’ve been trying to make all the connections possible and I’m also goin to school for photography and have had no luck so far. I’ve got the gear and the knowledge, just trying to get it into real life
You have to show people you can do what you say you want to do. Do you have examples of the stuff you've done? Would love to talk more. How's school going? Are you making connections in sports so you can get a chance to shoot?
Hello, thanks for this video ! Just a quick question I am french and do not really understand the 1st advice. It means, do not post photo on social media before the client post it ?
No. He's talking about the media pass that gets you on the sideline to take pictures. Do not post a picture of that card on social media. People can copy it and get on the sideline to take pictures illegally.
I had a fellow professional photographer friend actually stop and take a picture and get an autograph from a NFL player. I politely told him it was extremely unprofessional of him to do that.
On a college game a while back.....seconds BEFORE the end of game which the home team was about to win the game, a photographer from the local daily actually RUNS into the field to get his shot......but then, the college coach shoves him back but the coach's asst physically shoves him, making him stumble and fall over, probably damaging his photo gear. In my conclusion, I would say WAIT TIL THE GAME IS OVER or at least the team starts to scramble the field, and only THEN do you rush into the field to grab your shots. For the first answer, he is absolutely correct!!!! you post your NFL credentials online, a crafty person can use that design and falsely create bogus NFL credentials so when an amatuer wants to go to any NFL game, he/she just "flashes" the credentials and hope officials dont check their list of legit media. ONE MORE THING.....especially if you are a guy shooting a game, you probably will have women spectators "checking you out" just because they are in the stands and YOU are on the field......CONCENTRATE on the game/event.....thats your bread n butter $$$$!!! women wooing you in their "web" will only make you LOSE your $$$$.....
Man oh man did I enjoy your video. And the fact that your a younger black man getting the job done, amazing. Proud of you keep up the good work. What brand of equipment do you use?

I actually made that mistake when I got my local newspaper credentials…I got in trouble..took it down and was told it was frowned upon ..

Do you have to go to school to get hired, or could you have your own equipment and a few years of sports shots taken at games?

can you explain the LCC program?
The Live Content Correspondent (LCC) program takes NFL fans on social as close as they can get to the NFL without wearing a helmet. This year due to Covid we capture content from the stands and get it out for fans on Social. Know that not a super long answer hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Great info! How did you get into the professional sport world bro?

jasonj87 don’t ever give up. No one can tell you what you can accomplish! Write me on Instagram I’ll give you some advice @lemargriffinfilms
I've shot 2 NFL games at FedEx Field. I was surprised how crowded and confined the space was. Much worse than any college of HS game I've been to.
love this video, thank you for the quick tips! hoping I'm lucky enough to photograph a 9ers game..but I will NOT cheer!
Pablo Chong Herrera glad this helped you!!!!
This video was dope, saying as I'm hoping to get on as LCC soon! Thanks bro
That would be huge for you. I hope you get on, the LCC program as been cool so far!
You still in Denver?
Any tips for getting into this work? I’ve been trying to make all the connections possible and I’m also goin to school for photography and have had no luck so far. I’ve got the gear and the knowledge, just trying to get it into real life

I'd love to get in with the Broncos, Rockies, or Avalanche! Talk about a dream come true! But, sadly I don't ever see that happening.
Never give up!
