Super impressive Becky. It takes one helluva woman to declutter a driveway, power wash a driveway, declutter a deck, power wash a deck and back of the house, all while doing it in 100 degree heat. Much love and respect for ya. Love your channel.
At my house I am a SAHM of 6. I have my kiddos put the toys away they are currently playing with before they can get different ones out which keeps the mess down to a minimum. We also have a nighttime routine. We turn off all tvs and devices and have 15-20 minutes of the kids cleaning, picking up and the older ones help me with laundry and dishes. Once a week we all go outside and pick up and declutter. You have to figure iut what works for you and your family though. Routines are not all created equal. Hope this helps 😉 i am excited to see the new house 🏠
A couple years ago, I started watching your videos to help me clean and my oldest daughter started watching them with me. She loves watching you and Arikatarina. She’s 7 and hates cleaning, but recently she has started making Vlog style videos on our extra phone that we have for our kids to watch on long car rides. Today we decided to encourage her to enjoy cleaning by telling her she can make cleaning videos like you. She’s completely onboard and is all about cleaning our home. I have felt the same. Finally after years of decluttering I realized it wasn’t enough and had to get ruthless. Now it’s manageable finally. I thought it was me not having good habits the reality was it was too much inventory.
I agree with this! I really think once we move we'll be able to decide what stays and what goes as we unpack to make the new space work for us while being organized and minimal.

I absolutely love your deck. I love pressure washing. You probably already painted the deck, but i would just stain it. It is a lot more upkeep with paint.

When we lived in our apartment, I definitely felt defeated when it came to cleaning because it was so small and cluttered. When we moved to our house with more space it definitely helped.but ultimately it came down to, decluttering regularly,not having a ton of toys and making my kids pick up after themselves.
We definitely declutter regularly, sometimes I'm shocked by how much we're getting rid of! It still feels very cramped though, I do think the extra space will make a huge difference! 🤗

Honestly, I would, but it's nothing special 😂 I eat generally healthy and my kids always steal my food so I never over-eat and my workout is running around after 3 little ones LOL

You're so right about being unmotivated since that has been me. I just can't hardly f force myself to get g up and start something, anything. I'm a widow, 67, raising my 3 grandsons with a back disability so I can't just go and go like I used to. (Very frustrating for me). Since clutter attracts clutter, that's my house. My biggest problem is I need to do some serious decluttering and then my next hardest is making homes for the stuff that's left so needless to say I have piles😢. Any tips would be great. Also can't wait for a house update. When are you planning on listing your current home? Thanks for another great video and will see you in the next one. Have a great week❤
My biggest tip would be to start with one surface or area of clutter and work to clear it off until it is done, putting things where they belong and discarding anything that makes you think "why do I have this?". Anything that doesn't have a home, collect in a box/storage container. At the end, you'll be forced to make a new home for all the miscellaneous items - which may force more decluttering of drawers/cabinets/etc. one thing usually leads to another. You can do it!! We plan to list our current home sometime in late August. 🥰
Good question! The property we own really isn't big enough to build on and have the land we want. Plus the cost to develop the area, add well and septic. There are many reasons we are not building on the property we already own. 🤗

An algae treatment is a chemical that kills algae. The previous stain has almost completely worn off, which is why we decided to try painting this time 😊
Don’t beat yourself up over the mess!! Your kids are playing and having fun with each other, instead of watching screens all the time. No judgment on screens, but I noticed when my house is clean it’s because my kids are watching too much tv 😂
