Finished up with your video of Ephesians chapter 5 today, my favorite out take of this chapter is; When we spend time /w Him we will naturally become more like Him.
Verse that stood out to me was 5:10 “and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord” and the reminder that we are children of the Light and we’re empowered by the Holy Spirit to live a life that pleases Him. So powerful. I also had an aha moment in the discussion on submission as a calling. When I submit to my husband I am submitting to the Lord 🤍 It’s an act of honor and worship to Christ. Thank you for being faithful to what He’s asked of you. Your Bible studies are helping me grow.

Pop culture makes marriage seem like a lust-driven grand finale for a great physical attraction for one another… and then when that attraction ends or is overshadowed by difficulty the marriage subsequently ends. It’s wonderful to see the true purpose and role of both husbands and wives laid out. Marriage is so much more - and so much more beautiful - than our society acknowledges.
I've been following along and been so blessed by your videos in this study! My favorite takeaway was that we are beloved children, and we imitate our Father as children naturally imitate their parents. I needed to hear this! I have had a hard time with the idea of having to submit to a man after being cheated on in my first relationship, and having to support my most recent ex financially while he did the bare minimum for me, then proceeded to stalk me after we broke up.
@Kaci Nicole how do I go about getting baptized? I hope this doesn't sound stupid. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer . I pray that I'm forgiven. Hello, I hope you're doing well, and may God help you with your cancer and any other struggles. As long as you love God and ask for his forgiveness and repent, then He will forgive you. In terms of baptism, I would encourage you to find a local church and ask them about being baptised. With regards to baptising yourself, we don't see any example of that in the Bible. And I think part of baptism is that it is a public declaration that you are dying to your flesh and following after God. And having a community of believers is important to support each other. I don't know if any if this is relevant to you now, but may God bless you and guide you.
How can I start an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ,for the past 13 years I've been addicted to masturbation and alcohol,how will I know that I ain't a reprobate,I sin even though I'm sinning,I've seen the Lord warning me about meditation
