When I was playing breath of the wild, and I was doing the korok trials, specifically, lost pilgrimage, the worst shrine quest in the game. So, naturally, I cheesed it, I set stamps in the directions where I had to travel, so I had a makeshift map of the route I had to take, when I got to the shrine,I played this on full blast.
I just got done vaccuming, taking out the garbage, scraping down an uneven bathtub paint, AND set up posters outside for things I'm selling, all tonight, all while it's getting colder! It was quite a bit of effort for someone with a low constitution, and I was only motivated by getting scared of seeing a person judge it when they see it tomorrow (that's not fun), but strangely, I think I've gotten a little better at speedrunning chores or just pushing myself to succeed. I think I've also gotten smarter at getting the jobs done; packing garbage in one bag for least amount of trips and least amount of hard lifting, and using a metal knife to scrape when I had no better than a plastic scraper that I struggled with before. Fear maybe shouldn't have been the motivator because I don't feel so good about the accomplishment, but I am at least happy that I never stopped to leave any work unfinished. Celebrated with this song now. That's good. What are your accomplishments tonight?
