    I can't wait to watch my first premiere video with you guys! We can chit chat during the video, yay! If you have any questions I will try to answer them after the premiere. Also, let me know if there is something you want to learn. I have several things planned and will be posting new tutorials each week. If you enjoy the video please give me a thumbs up and don't forget to hit the bell in the upper right hand corner to be reminded of future videos. Thanks!

    It's the second year of coming back to this video for a reminder on how this is done. I make these in bulk for the craft shows. I noticed a small tool you used to push and pull through the dog feed. I started using the walking foot for the last step and it worked like a charm!

      Thanks so much for coming back to visit our channel and for the idea of using the walking foot 😊

    Again thank you for the straightforward tutorial. I made one full set with plate cozies, and now I'm on my second set as a gift to a friend!

    What is wrap and zap..is this warm and natural?

    • @TheBrokenNeedle
      @TheBrokenNeedle  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s 100% cotton batting made specifically to be used in the microwave. Warm and Natural has 12.5% polyester and could catch fire if used in the microwave.

    What batting did you use? Your's is so thin, compared to the Wrap and Zap, if you soak and dry it like recommended on the package. Sewing the flaps one over the other makes it very bulky, but your's didn't appear that way. I've made two tonight myself.

    • @TheBrokenNeedle
      @TheBrokenNeedle  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jessica Eiss I used 100 % cotton quilt batting.

    Do you recommend reinforcing the stitching at the opening of the bag? Would an all-cotton flannel work instead of Wrap and Zap because it is so bulky to sew once it is folded over. I'd also recommend using a non-directional fabric.

      @TheBrokenNeedle  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Priscilla Boisvert Yes you should reinforce the stitching at the opening. As long as the flannel and thread are 100% cotton since this is going in the microwave. I agree non-directional fabric would be best. Thanks for commenting 😊

    Thanks for the video, as I am very dyslectic and I have a hard time understanding written instructions. You didn't indicate whether you use 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch seam in making the bag or does it really matter.

    • @TheBrokenNeedle
      @TheBrokenNeedle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used 1/4" but it really doesn't matter for this project :) Thanks for watching!
