The front part of the “Ship” is NOT the restraint, it is the sail. When the ships are out on the water they can put up a sail for wind power.

They’re both dark rides where you travel through the ride and look at the scenes. The Peter Pan ride vehicle is a pirate ship that’s attached to bar above the riders so the ride vehicle can “fly” over the sets and scenes.
