they need to do what mk1 does for ranked in terms of sets n plugging. in mk1 youre FORCED to rematch if you wanna rank up, if you leave before finishing the set of ft3, you actually losr points and get a penalty. for plugging, whoever Dc’s loses points and the opposing player gains points

I think its fine as is, they just need to ban pluggers (notify when it happens), stop matching players with significantly lower ranks, and only penalize those who reject sets frequently (maybe suspension or point decline).

Easiest thing for dealing with Raven clones. Ever time you see a clone attack, it’s -14 on block. The only exception is when in heat, then they’re minus 3 or 4 Edit: Also Raven’s counters/parries (b1+3, bb2, back turn stance f1+2 and qcf 1+2) are solid but have counter play. His back 1+3 counters everything including grabs, heat smash/burst, but loses to rage arts and most forward advancing strings and followups in my experience so far. Also he gets nothing off of successfully parrying with b1+3. But it is a get out of mix free card against most heat smashes. But, in some scenarios like against draganov he can launch punish a heat smash off back 1+3. Bb2 and qcf 1+2 are basically the same but you can beat them by using mids, lows, or block and punish the follow up attack if it’s used against a low commit(safe) attack. Back turn stance f1+2 loses to lows and mids too, it also seems to not work against any attacks that uses knees or elbows specifically. How it’s used kinda depends on the player. Me personally, I usually use it to cover my ass if I go into back turn stance and and am -9 (like his cartwheel attack). Raven’s game plan is mostly mental stacking and conditioning his opponent. But he’s not plus on block very often.
Rank has become SO toxic, high rank players plug because I’m winning so I can’t rank up, or I get screwed by broken characters n lose points.. I just play quick match now

Also in tekken 8 Jin parry doesn't launch every move and most most that were launch punishable in tekken 7 when jin parry are -10 or safe now. Jin parry also doesn't put him in an safe position were most strings or moves can't hit him. If jin does parry you can still continue attacking most of the time in tekken 8 he will get punish since his block window is gone in tekken8.
