I've heard people argue that Halsey's music sounds like generic pop songs and I do kind of agree but she's still a pretty big deal, or at least bigger than Victoria. Even if it is mediocre, that doesn't mean it isn't catchy or good. She can definitely do better and it did seem a little young for her to be doing but that doesn't mean she can't make better music or that she has to make that for the rest of her career. Disney stars made juvenile music that was still really good and I think as long as the music matures as they do then there isn't any reason why she shouldn't have more attention. If she ever decided to make more music I think she could definitely do it as long as it was a little more mature and better advertised. I've heard people argue that Halsey's music sounds like generic pop songs and I do kind of agree but she's still a pretty big deal, or at least bigger than Victoria. Even if it is mediocre, that doesn't mean it isn't catchy or good. She can definitely do better and it did seem a little young for her to be doing but that doesn't mean she can't make better music or that she has to make that for the rest of her career. Disney stars made juvenile music that was still really good and I think as long as the music matures as they do then there isn't any reason why she shouldn't have more attention. If she ever decided to make more music I think she could definitely do it as long as it was a little more mature and better advertised. As for this song, I actually really like it for what it is and I wish it had done better so she could've had more chances to find her own sound
