This is an awesome book! It has everything that anyone could want in a novel! The story line is very unique and is action packed from start to finish with heart pumping scenes, adventure to unusual places, epic battles and romance along the way. Bridget Ladd nailed it with book one of her trilogy series "Rise Of The Ardent". To make things even better it is also available in audiobook! The narrator, Elizabeth Klett, with her light British voice, makes the story come to life, as if you are there! I highly recommend "The Lotus Effect" by Bridget Ladd and be sure to look for her second book in this series "Ardent Ascension", but I must warn you.....these books are impossible to put down!
