This is a great series. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It was not at all what I expected. The title is very deceiving. You did an awesome job of bringing the characters and the story to life. I hope there will be a sequel.

Idk if it was the writers intent or not but every character except Dillon is unlikable. Like why are they giving him such a hard time for wanting to know what's he getting into? Giving frustrating replies like "you should know" or "it's obvious" bruh no, he doesn't know! Dillon has made it clear since the start he has nothing and wants to help but everyone is like f*ck you for wanting to help. The only other likable character was the black dude(Mark Michael? He dies so damn fast don't remember his name or anyone's name) and he freaking dies. It taken two hours into the story for them to partially explain why they are there. I'm on my last hour with story so far so I hope things get better because I wanted to like the story since everyone else likes it.

I was like an hour and a half in and one of the characters (Paul or his daughter) asked Dillon "is this the time for these questions?" YES, it is the time for these questions, like lots and lots of questions that hopefully actually get answers. Like the author was so scared of having an exposition drop that they decided to just force the lead character be blind the whole time. Lol

I loved being able to listen to the whole story all over again. Makes me want to go listen to all of lonely broadcasting station again (or whatever it's called) and maybe "Finding Vanessa" and the early Gas Station story's. I can't remember the titles but I can't forget how awesome the writing was.
I like how the authors Pride to make this Caleb guy seem like a badass, but only succeeded in making him the most annoyingly insufferable character to have ever existed in a creepypasta
Caleb's introduction immediately took me out of the story, because YOU DO NOT FIRE A BULLET BETWEEN PEOPLE'S FACES. One wrong move by anyone and he'd have headshotted his boss. I don't care how great a marksman he is, that is Rule One of firearms: NEVER point a gun in the direction of someone if you don't want him dead.
Despite the similarity in the words, there's a wide gap between "badass" and "dumbass".
Is he really more insufferable than the whiny protagonist?

The "destiny bleeds" story had a worse guy and story. First time i had to start skipping forward from the very beginning, and I should have just quit the vid, the story was the least engaging i have heard in these vids. As was the ONE character in that story.

The diner people aren’t really explained, in the end the creatures are expanded upon but it still doesn’t explain why the townspeople seemed normal at times and possessed during the storm.

One of the best stories you've done in a while, from both sides I mean.
Your voice acting is always pretty good, and you manage to give every character a unique vocal identity.
I don't know if this was intentional, but it seems a bit too convenient that KTHU when spoken as a word sounds like the first part of Cthulhu's name, going along with the very eldritch/Lovecraftian nature of the storms in Emerald Bay.
Almost all of these characters are just assholes and it kinda ruins the story for me.
And Caleb doesn’t come off as a badass. He just comes off as a prick.
Okay, these people suck. They tell the newbie absolutely nothing about what's going on and then ask like major assholes when he makes easily avoidable mistakes. I'm about half way through and hope things turn around because right now the only one I give a damn about is Dylan.

Is it just me or is the writing like... not good in this series? Idk, too many things took me out of it. Like, the totally unnecessary secrecy and bullying of main character after he literally witnessed them shoot a monster out of the sky. Like, he demands to know what's going on and the guy just tells him "You really are somethin' else".... Come on.
I hate that trope, like why bring the guy if you're just going to keep him in the dark, that makes him a liability, and it's your fault.
The pacing really killed me. Dude seemed like a normal guy (even if he is down on his luck) drives in, people treat him like shit, and then he gets attacked by a random snake lady, and he just brushes all this shit off? Also, the thought of how they interacted with the town in the beginning (sending Daniel to a hotel and then Natalee taking him to breakfast after she was on her expedition where Nick died) is just completely unbelievable. At least in the first one, we can say that they wanted to test him, but that is completely psychotic.
I still have an hour left so my opinion may change, but I don’t think it’s super likely.
As much as I like the story I can’t say the same for the characters. To things just not being explained to the mc even though he’s an employee there for no reason, to the mc acting like he knows what do in situations that he no experience about. Ugh.
I agree. I also didn’t like the way everyone thr*ate*ed to or actually abused the mc. Getting a g*n held up to his throat and being sl*pped by the girls. Just the blatant disrespect right off the bat in general like wtf.
I had to stop half-way because the MC was insufferable and started to make me root for the monsters.
One other thing. The story never explained why the people in the beginning didn't attack. like why didnt the old lady and the man in the hotel attack him and waited until night? Then, when he asked for an explanation as to what was going on, why didn't they say "they only attack at night". And if they only attack at night, why couldn't they dispose of them in the daylight. Natalie sure wanted to get something to eat!
I loved this story before and now my favorite TH-cam creator has the complete story! I know what I'm doing for the rest of the day. Thank you so much man I love your content and i hope you keep up another 10 years!

We need a big long story featuring dylan, jack and malboro from the gas station, the charachters from the dinner, evelyn and daniel from the lonely broadcast station, eric from finding vannessa, mr barnaby from the very old grocery store, and the guy from strange things happen overnight at lowes all together fighting some horde of weird things that dont follow the natural order🎉😊
I listened to each one of these as they came in as pieces, it was so awesome to listen to this as a whole. I love this story so much I saved it to my scary story playlist. I have permanent nerve and muscle damage along with the whole list of other stuff, so I am home a lot when not in Therapies and doctor appointments but I'll put a story on and listen, the stories lets me get out of my own head. I have severe PTSD that affects me every single day all day, and I typically wake up from PTSD nightmares every night but unfortunately due to the medical conditions I cannot take a lot of stuff. I went through 12 years of DV, my life is a scary movie, right now it feels like I'm in a sequel that's not quite as good cuz I still have to interact with him and I actually got assaulted by my ex brother-in-law a little over a year ago cuz I told him to stop yelling in his 8-year-old's face so his solution was to choke slam me and he is a personal trainer and bodybuilder
That's so terrible. I have found that what we listen to, or just let play, influences our moods. Can you try listening to binaural beats or some Christian sermons to help relieve at least some of the nightmares rated to your PTSD?
@@anasazirose trust me I've tried everything over the past 6 years since getting away from the man. One thing that did help my doctor can't let me have back because we confirmed I have sleep apnea, so nothing with any sedative qualities. I do heart math which is a special breathing technique, there's some other therapy techniques that I do as well as listening to calming rain tracks and things like that. I have the nightmares no matter what I listen to, and now I have nightmares about my ex brother-in-law cuz he assaulted me a year ago choke slamming me. He's a personal trainer and bodybuilder he had me all the way in the air and then was throwing me down so hard my body was completely horizontal in the air. And I still have to interact with him a lot which does not help

I barely survived it took me 30 sessions of physical therapy just to walk again that didn't include anything else. I've done nothing but improve over the last 6 years including learning how to walk again including taking care of my daughter on my own. I have a high IQ but the abuse I was subject to screwed me over good because they planned everything. Just curious if you thought it was a diary entry and complaining why the f*** did you even read it in the first place. I have been only hoping my story might help somebody, and I don't care what you think because I've had positive response. I've been told that I saved their life cuz they realized that the abuse was just going to continue and get worse, she had been terrified but didn't believe that she was worth anything and I know that feeling

So, these possessed town folk who allegedly feel no pain and move abnormally fast...SOMEHOW couldn't get into a small building for an hour, while also now suddenly feeling pain and retreating from injuries? And this is to say nothing of the shitty characters we are meant to follow and root for. The MC and Natalie are the only ones who are semi-decent people.

However My only issue was the characters... theyre written well have good dialoge and react better than most characters probly would but its the personalities i have issues with mainly why the heck they dont want dylan to learn nothing about whats going on (is he a little slow at picking things up heck yea but i understand that being in an extremely dangerous environment with little to no explanation can have that effect on people)

Personally, love the concept but hate like half the cast of characters. They all seem, half written? Lotta stereotyping and just overall shallow characters
When I heard the first two stories I thought it was boring so I just avoided the next one’s coming. But when I saw a full story telling I figured why not give it a second chance. It was at 1:30:39 I’d realized how wrong I was for skipping and had to right this down for anyone who also might have these doubts to see and know to continue listening it goods so much better. I still have the rest of the story to go and I feel like it’s not going to be enough.
Weird... I was hooked after Part 2... I definitely could have used a better hook in all fairness. Surprised it took longer then an hour for you tho. Hm... I am only at Part 5 so can't wait to see what drew you in.

Even in the panhandle near Wyoming and Colorado there are no mountains in that state. Some bigger hills and a few plates but no mountains.

I had a 6 hour drive today and put this on. I absolutely love this story! It kept my attention the whole time(I almost ran out of gas not paying attention to my drive), but it really felt like nails on chalkboard when he referred to Natalie as "The Blonde" over and over again. It made my skin crawl, but not in a creepypasta way. Not a great descriptor, imo... I felt their "nickname/titles" were overused as a whole, though.

They do not need storm chasers to help them with their quest. They need some military, preppers, dudes who know how to work guns and kill things. One or two chasers to find these things but gun guys to fight it. These guys do not have the skills lol I still love them though.

2:09:55 man, I feel bad for the main character: wanting to save his new coworkers only for them to end up dead. Kind of reminds me of one theory why chivalry died: stories like this where the poor character tries to be chivalrous only for it to backfire.
