- Heading back to Teesside but this time for round 4 of Driftcup. I was feeling confident after the practice day we did there not long ago... apparently rightly so, as I got my best qualifying result and best overall finishing position so far.

Love the progress bro. This was by far your best tandems. You were right about how you started on your chase runs. Maybe try letting the lead take off first so you have time to catch him as he goes through chicane instead starting at the same time as him, or try and match his speed as he goes through the chicane. Keep up the great work 🤙
Yeah going to try that next time (in 2 weeks). Only problem is if they have a faster car then all I've done is give them a head start and I end up even further back lol just got to find a good middle ground

isnt that not a tactic tho to force the car to slow down on the chase? looks like the lead car was purposely forcing you to come off throttle.

Great work dude and unlucky about the last run! Regarding the dodgy starts, what is the reasoning behind the chicane for the lead car?
ironically its actually there to make sure the chase car doesn't get left behind haha I mean I can see the logic, cos otherwise if I went up against a faster car then its basically just an unwinnable drag race to the first corner. So they let the chase car get a bit of a head start, but then at some point you've got to lift off just the right amount to let the lead car past and still be right on their rear bumper going into the first corner
Do you plan on bringing on any sponsors? Maybe for next season?

I can see the judges point, however I still think you should've won the final battle.
He massively over cooked the first corner with 3 wheels off and totally straightened up. Then again came far too fast on his chase run and would've smashed you hard if you didn't avoid him. You should've been credited for consistency and accuracy, and him penalised for lack of control. But what do I know, I'm no drift judge haha
