Lovely fish, just wondering do you spin for them at all ? Me and my mate haven't got fly fishing gear yet, from mid july to now we have been trying different rivers and a few lakes for brown trout, we have seen them with our own eyes either sitting in the pools or jumping out of the water, we havent had a single bite on the spinners, we have had a couple of follows and thats all. this time last year I was landing them back to back on the spinner. Mind you the water was quite a bit higher at that time, wondering if you'd have any idea what the problem/what we're doing wrong would be ?
@@kodiwtf hi I do spin for them after a flood or high water when it's not really suitable for a fly, if spinning wait until after a flood and try a mepp size 2 works good for me but can also be caught on size 3's, rapalas also work very well for them
