It's just amazing to me from beginning to end, so many looks, so many sets, all kinds of small changes in the beat leave you curious, the division of the lines was also fine in my opinion, each one shined here and that's my opinion! Baby Monster understood the task and gave here a hit debut song.
Well, the girls nailed it. This was a pretty aggressive debut for a group that's as young as Baby Monster is. It'll be interesting to watch them grow. You mentioned each member getting their moment, and that's something that not all groups get, and it has hurt them, especially with the bigger groups. One of the things with those is helping fans get to know them as individuals, and I think that this video managed that very well. I'm not going to enhancify your word of the day stuff because...RATS! Well, you win this one Coach! ;)

People misinform without knowing, YG delayed the debut of BABY MONSTER because the company was waiting for AHYEON's recovery so that the 7 could debut, what happened is that AHYEON had a nose job and the surgical operation did not give the expected results. , it is not known if the surgery was poorly done or if AHYEON had post-operative complications, that is why YG waited and waited for him to recover but they could not wait any longer, I do not defend YG but the company is not to blame for the fact that AHYEON's surgery will be complicated, so the delay of the debut is justified, but thank God the girls with 6 members debuted successfully, AHYEON will probably return in 2024.

A botched nose job, mental health reasons, etc. are pure speculation and a result of YG not providing anything concrete. We don't even know for sure if Ahyeon will even join the group eventually. Even if ultimately she doesn't she's crazy talented and a future kpop idol/star.

great reaction as always... to offer my thoughts: Personally, I loved the song. It felt like classic YG but with a strong (enough) modern evolution, so best of both worlds for my taste. Of course its amazing that ASA got composing and lyric credits on the debut, what's very promising for the future. The song has insane rap parts without loosing the vocals and individuality of each member in the song / mixing. Everybody got their moment to shine. Its obviously designed with modern sensibilities in mind (tiktok etc.) but I love that we also finally got a full 3+ min song from YG again. I even like the lyrics. Very confident but without coming across arrogant (I don't want anything but your heart), without looking down on the listener (I would never do you wrong) and even being inclusive (everybody ... We are the monsters of the world ... Let's run anywhere). If I had to critique something it would be that the second chorus should have build on and not repeat the first chorus. I'm also not happy that we only got a digital single. At least one B-Side would've been important in my opinion (to use it as chance to show a slightly different take maybe more vocal RnB focused). But overall very happy with the release. Of course I wish Ahyeon well and hope she can join the group later Ahyeon was marketed as #1 choice, most likely leader and center of the group, maybe the most popular member of them all. They obviously wanted her to debut. So having her not debut must've been a difficult decision. Maybe the first delay (from September to November) was already an attempt to wait for Ahyeon. Prioritizing health (if thats the truth) is the right decision. But everybody would've complained if they delayed the debut again (yet another group that YG delays into oblivion). So if you get bashed either way, then just debut them as is (it will be a success no matter what) and bolster your stock price as well as distract from your legal problems. As for the song itself: YG promised that Babymonster would have and represent the "YG DNA". So if they do something new for the debut, everybody would've complained that this is not YG. While staying true to their promise produces complaints that its nothing new. Again either way, YG gets the hate. We got similar situations with Blackpink releases. I think it was the right decision to go with the YG style but modernize it just enough. We celebrate when other companies stay true to themselves and for example SM releases yet another SM-song, but its "cool" to hate on YG and their GGs. So YG will get the hate no matter what. They then can at least stay true to their own identity.
Good comment. We aren't as familiar with this company, of course, so this sounded and felt new to us, especially the rap verse which seemed to be longer than most we've heard. But we simply cannot understand the few who have complained. If this isn't impressive to someone, their standards are simply unrealistic. Let's be honest, how many people in the entire world could do this? We believe in appreciating talent above all, and these ladies are truly talented. Thanks for watching and for the great insight.

A decent debut in my opinion. Raps were 🔥🔥 also the vocals, choreo & visuals. The chorus was mid and it reminded me of Lisa's money but it is YG to be expected, they have a habit of reusing melodies ( similiar case is with Ikon's 'Rhythm Ta' & 'Good Boy' by GD×Taeyang)

People misinform without knowing, YG delayed the debut of BABY MONSTER because the company was waiting for AHYEON's recovery so that the 7 could debut, what happened is that AHYEON had a nose job and the surgical operation did not give the expected results. , it is not known if the surgery was poorly done or if AHYEON had post-operative complications, that is why YG waited and waited for him to recover but they could not wait any longer, I do not defend YG but the company is not to blame for the fact that AHYEON's surgery will be complicated, so the delay of the debut is justified, but thank God the girls with 6 members debuted successfully, AHYEON will probably return in 2024.

@@CoachCastTV There is no official information about the surgery (it is unofficial and there is a lot on TH-cam and the Internet) and there is no official information about this so as not to create controversy because in South Korea everything turns into controversy and a media storm, and a controversy in a debut would not be good, but many unofficial sources affirm about AHYEON's nose surgery and if we analyze things everything makes sense, because it does not make sense that AHYEON, who was going to be the leader of the group, did not debut, YG only published that AHYEON He had health problems and that's why he wasn't going to debut, but YG didn't specify what kind of health problems he had, so the thing about the botched nose job is very, very likely.

@@CoachCastTV Nothing is confirmed regarding why Ahyeon didn't debut with the group, all YG stated was "a health related issue". A botched nose job, mental health reasons, etc. are pure speculation and a result of YG not providing anything concrete. We don't even know for sure if Ahyeon will even join the group eventually. Even if ultimately she doesn't she's crazy talented and a future kpop idol/star.

great reaction as always... to offer my thoughts: Personally, I loved the song. It felt like classic YG but with a strong (enough) modern evolution, so best of both worlds for my taste. Of course its amazing that ASA got composing and lyric credits on the debut, what's very promising for the future. The song has insane rap parts without loosing the vocals and individuality of each member in the song / mixing. Everybody got their moment to shine. Its obviously designed with modern sensibilities in mind (tiktok etc.) but I love that we also finally got a full 3+ min song from YG again. I even like the lyrics. Very confident but without coming across arrogant (I don't want anything but your heart), without looking down on the listener (I would never do you wrong) and even being inclusive (everybody ... We are the monsters of the world ... Let's run anywhere). If I had to critique something it would be that the second chorus should have build on and not repeat the first chorus. I'm also not happy that we only got a digital single. At least one B-Side would've been important in my opinion (to use it as chance to show a slightly different take maybe more vocal RnB focused). But overall very happy with the release. Of course I wish Ahyeon well and hope she can join the group later
Ahyeon was marketed as #1 choice, most likely leader and center of the group, maybe the most popular member of them all. They obviously wanted her to debut. So having her not debut must've been a difficult decision. Maybe the first delay (from September to November) was already an attempt to wait for Ahyeon. Prioritizing health (if thats the truth) is the right decision. But everybody would've complained if they delayed the debut again (yet another group that YG delays into oblivion). So if you get bashed either way, then just debut them as is (it will be a success no matter what) and bolster your stock price as well as distract from your legal problems. As for the song itself: YG promised that Babymonster would have and represent the "YG DNA". So if they do something new for the debut, everybody would've complained that this is not YG. While staying true to their promise produces complaints that its nothing new. Again either way, YG gets the hate. We got similar situations with Blackpink releases. I think it was the right decision to go with the YG style but modernize it just enough. We celebrate when other companies stay true to themselves and for example SM releases yet another SM-song, but its "cool" to hate on YG and their GGs. So YG will get the hate no matter what. They then can at least stay true to their own identity.
Good comment. We aren't as familiar with this company, of course, so this sounded and felt new to us, especially the rap verse which seemed to be longer than most we've heard. But we simply cannot understand the few who have complained. If this isn't impressive to someone, their standards are simply unrealistic. Let's be honest, how many people in the entire world could do this? We believe in appreciating talent above all, and these ladies are truly talented. Thanks for watching and for the great insight.

A decent debut in my opinion. Raps were 🔥🔥 also the vocals, choreo & visuals. The chorus was mid and it reminded me of Lisa's money but it is YG to be expected, they have a habit of reusing melodies ( similiar case is with Ikon's 'Rhythm Ta' & 'Good Boy' by GD×Taeyang)
