After watching your video I bought a retro bottom drain, and I have to to say I think it’s probably the best thing I have bought for the pond. The difference was dramatic just after 24hrs. I have struggled for years with consistent clarity of the water, but the water is clearer than it’s ever been. I do have to clean the filter more now, but it’s worth the effort. Thanks!

You have me thinking about getting a retro. Rewatched your vid on it. May do more research on it.. As pipes would freeeze solid and I would have to turn it off during winter as I wouldn't wanna disturb the warmer water at bottom. Thanks again pal
All looking good with your fish Just sent for some polycarbonate sheets for mine .Glad the retro bottom drain is working well for you thinking of getting one next year is it the eco filtration one . I have the velda skimmer and it really is good I keep in anchored in corner of pond and the junk it cleans up is brilliant . I have stopped feeding two weeks ago. Hi carol Yes think the polycarbonate sheet will be good for your pond I am considering ordering some. Yes it the eco filter retro I have a 1800 litre pump running it and I am very impressed so far Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Mine are still active and still !looking for food, So I give them as much as they will eat while I'm watching them , just small amounts at a time ,temp 10c 😷👍
I feel your pain about the leaves, I've also got an oak right behind my back fence and it's far too generous with its leaves in autumn :( I also started a channel in lockdown, you're doing much better with views and subs than me tho' :)
