While Tea Enjoyers drink tea best with Tea alone but also can be enjoyed with Milk and Honey, i do not recommend using sugar since it tastes horrendous. enjoying Tea's as it is, are easier than black Coffee.
While idk much about brewing coffee, I claimed myself as experts on brewing Tea's. When people say their Tea tastes like nothing or tastes bitter. It means they brew it or are using the wrong doses, every type of tea has a different boiled water temp and time of stimming, if it's too weak or too fast, your tea will taste weak and water Like, and if it's too hot or too long it will taste like a burn or bitter (i failed a lot when I'm a beginner and it taste disgusting) I also had a friend who is a coffee addict and even had a very pricey machine in his home, and for more fair judgment i tried his coffee. I tried one shot coffee, while I'm used to drinking tea without sugar. Coffee is very bitter.
Real matcha does taste very bitter. The higher quality it is the more bitter it gets, so yeah it does need a lot of sugar to make it a main dessert flavor
