I meant to say that the Diorama will be in this video series, not this video. Stay tuned for the next installments to learn how to make and or buy them :3
Yesssssss. I will be making an etsy shop or something for people to buy them when they are done. The dioramas I make will range from super simple, to ones with awesome accessories and such, and will all be 1/12 scale to work with model kits or action figures :D I hope people will enjoy them. And yes, I will make sure to sell them at a more reasonable price then all the competition. Mwahaha :D
@@barcom5439 Thats a great idea! It really is a good way to learn what works and what doesn't. And I find hand painting can be more fun at times, even thought I don't do it as much. I think it will be easier to do a weathered look for hand painting as when things are messy, mistakes aren't as noticeable If you would like to see an example of when I hand painted an entire gunpla model it's right here: th-cam.com/video/1qwq4M7gOCY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZsMfkLZg0ChNtUGf - HGUC Baund Doc Custom - Spriken Gunpla Project 🐤 If you do try it out some time, feel free to let me know how it goes.
Sept. 20, 2021----The problem with Walmarts craft section is they are NOT all created equal. Rarely is the one I go to is fully stocked AND with all those things shown in your video. And hot glue guns are also not created equal. Nephew bought one of those cheap ones and it didn't work out for him. Lent him mine which was about double the price, BUT, mine has TWO heat settings. Sponges on a stick are cheaper at Dollar Tree. As to wooden dowels, good selection here, but also hit the camping section for barbeque skewers which are 2+ feet long. they're 88 cents vs $1 at Dollar Tree. As to large bottles of Modge Podge, none at Dollar Tree, but then I also hit Michaels & Hobby Lobby for stuff the other 2 stores don't carry,
Thanks for watching and your comment. This video isn't meant to be the gospel or anything, just some helpful ideas for cheaper solutions for making dioramas. My dollar store visit was meant to be included but sadly the store was doing some reno. I would hope that people will use their common sense and find other cheaper places for supplies and when the cheaper stuff doesn't seem to cut it in certain areas like you mentioned, they can try spending more. And also things will differ depending on if people are in Canada or US or various other countries :3 **Sorry for late reply, youtube didn't give me a notice for this comment for some reason
Yeah, I remember trying it and it eating the foam like you mentioned. But it can give an interesting texture, and at least can be used with other non foam materials. Thanks for your comments and your words of warning, I appreciate your concern and wanting to help. 🐤 I think if I made this video now I would update some thoughts of mine. Like getting a better hot glue gun and such.

Hell yeah man! Love to hear you're gonna be making diorama's on the cheap and selling them!

Great pickups! Word of warning though, that mod podge spray can eat and distort your foam. I recommend sealing with the modpodge you can brush on.
You’re right! I found this out the hard way. It can be handy for other material at least 🐤
you do great work. people would be lucky to have them : )
Thanks, fingers crossed! :D

Seeing this is an older video. I thought it was new. Hope that mod podge worked ok for you?
