    I liked the editing, great stuff. We should revive some of these games! Animals playing Senet reminds me of the poker dogs.

      Last year I brought a copy of 20 square (Royal Game of Ur) to a family dinner and managed to get a competition going - highly recommend! I know that the British Museum online shop carries it, and there are various replicas online, it's also pretty easy to make. We used the rules found by Irving Finkel - there are videos online of him playing, it's quite good!

    The card games and board games we have today can be very complex and have a lot of variety, and you can spend a ton of time playing them. But I've always wondered about how people would spend their time back then. I'm thinking, what if someone would invent D&D back then.... how would it affect board and video games today?
