I would say that a passion to learn will mean that you become educated through experience. Start at the bottom, grab every opportunity you can to be around good people that want you to learn and grow and listen and observe them. Its not just what you know its how you convey it to others, energy, body language and being really interested in the customer are key, your are not selling watches you are providing a service and the opportunity to make people feel that they are part of something special. A watch is so much more than a tool it is something the has a greater representation than its form, a watch can mean so much, give us confidence and remind of us of points in our lives, people and things we have experienced and the associations we have. We hand watches down to loved ones based on the value they have which is far greater than the price tag. When you put on a watch that you love you feel better, this is renewed whenever you look down at it, for some it is the first thing they see in the morning and the last thing they see at night. When I was little and wanted to start going out on my own, I needed to be home by a certain time. The watch I had gave me independence and a sense of freedom, I could go where I wanted as long as I was back by a certain time and my watch made that possible. From that point on I appreciated the beauty in watches and how unlike most things they combine pride, function, freedom and are pieces of art that can go everywhere with you. I love this channel not just for the watches but for the people.
Education vs Experience... Which would you rather have? Remember, experience only comes with time where education is much quicker.
