My boyfriend at the time was from Lagos btw. We lived in a 1 bedroom apt. in NY city & I felt back then we were very much in love. I didn't hv my own set of keys so if u left u couldn't get back in. I was always home back then trying 2 play house until I got my act together so when I wasn't home it felt unfamiliar for him so he hugged me really tight & looked at me with so much love in his eyes. I will never forgot that look & I haven't quite ever seen the same in anyone else's eyes although I have been blessed & fortunate 2 hv had wonderful relationships. I won't dwell on the bad ones. Most street tout would do what Maurice Sam did.. Patrick first gave him N30k just to look after his car, then later offered to give him N100k just to protect someone he likes… money he hardly gets on a normal day even if he does so many hard jobs.
