I still think it's weird hearing Paul speak with his natural accent, his Scottish was absolutely brilliant, and this is coming from a Scot, I'd love to know his inspiration for the accent :P
I cried the first time I saw that Carson died and every time I watch it, still today, I have a lump in my throat. It is so emotional, the end on the pier is so heart-warming and heart-breaking.
I cried like a baby when Carson died..bringing him back the way they did was ingenious and AWESOME...apart from Steven Caldwell..Carson was my favourite characters..❤❤❤
I've contemplated how and if they broke the news of Carson's clone to his mom. On one hand, Carson's clone would have wanted to assuage her grief, but what story would they have to tell her? Dishonor the memory of the real Carson by saying they made a mistake and the man they buried was a misidentified corpse? Would the real Carson have been okay with that if it meant his mom would have her son back in her life again? Or do you tell Carson's mom the truth? If you do, then do you keep their visits completely private and Carson's clone can never show his face around town ever again? Or do you go halfway-- trot the 'mistaken identity' story for the public while giving Carson's mom the true story.
I wonder how would Stargate franchise and tv shows with the Stargate cocreator having important creative contributions officially handle it if there are official permissions between Amazon video studios/MGM studios and BBC studios to officially incorporate UNIT, Torchwood, the Doctor, the Doctor's companions, the TARDIS, the Cybermen, Dalek, Zygons, Ice Warriors, Weeping Angels, Sonatarians, Silurians, Doctor Who technology, Doctor Who Storylines. along side Stargate characters, Stargate Species/Races, Stargate technology, and Stargate storylines within official Stargate and Doctor Who crossover episode and/or episodes and/or multi episodes.

I think it was chiefly his grandmother. Paul was born in Scotland and raised in Canada, so it comes quite naturally. 😀
I thought it was his dad that was Scottish.

Carson and Rodney were my favourite Atlantis characters !

Mitch Pileggi is always great 👍🏻
I love the Stargate Atlantis Dr. Carson Beckett characters. I'm a fan of Actor Paul McGillion.
I absolutely love Paul and Beckett, and I still bawl every time I see Sunday.
Beket's death was Atlantis' version of SG1's episode "Heroes". I loved both

Love this show. And the interviews are great.
I was miffed that they killed the doctors in both sg1 and Atlantis… it felt cheap to me…
I usually hate it when they have meaningful, heroic deaths.
*Thanks **#Darren_Sumner** for this interview buddy.* 🤗😉☺️😊
I loved Paul McGillion Dr. Carson Beckett.
Loved Carson,,did Paul leave his awesome Scottish accent in Atlantis,, sounds so different,,but I still think he's fab,
'Sunday' was nothing more than shock for the sake of it
How should they have gotten rid of the character when Paul left the show...
@@knifeyonline Anything but exploding tumors, that was kinda absurd. Janet getting shot while in the field made so much sense and was much better imo

Worst thing they ever did was bring him back, after such a great way to end his time. His character was simply crowbarred in for ratings.
