I have been on I-20 from Atlanta, Georgia, to Meridian, Mississippi, but not farther west then that. I'm happy to watch you drive through I-20 in north Louisiana and all the way to Texas

There was this one time we passed through Shreveport, Louisiana to get into the Texas state line from there via I-20.
I had a quote from the Princess and the Frog (Disney) where Ray the firefly said: "Go to bed! Y'all from Shreveport?"
My brother thought: No, we passed through Shreveport. We were on our way to Dallas for my mom's boulé.
At 3:02:00 is where I felt too when reaching the Texas state line. We bade an au revoir to Louisiana and gave a warm Texas "yee-haw" to the biggest state in the contiguous US. (Yes, that's 48 states in total).
We were like Burton Gilliam on the way to Dallas. We travel almost halfway to the southwest US just to feel more welcomed here in the best way possible. I, in my opinion, was like Roger Miller being welcomed to his home state, and yet my memories from that animated movie (Robin Hood, 1973) carried me back to the time when we watched this on a Disney Fantasy cruise ship in spring break of 2017.
We were raised in Florida by our parents, and we'd traveled so much to distant places around the United States and in the Caribbean.
Thanks for posting this video, Big Rig Steve! You mean so much to us! 🧒🏾🖐🏾

Almost a year later and the drive through Bossier and Shreveport is the same. At the same time, from Laffayette to Breaux Bridge is getting an additional lane on I-10. We do not matter up here, except during election time. We should succeed from Baton Rouge and become the Great State of North Louisiana. I have been all over this state and have never seen infrastructure ignored like it is here in the Shreveport/ Bossier area. aka the arklatex.
