If someone cheats and doesn't want to go back to the place where the cheating took place it doesnt necessarily mean that he/she is still cheating. It probably represents his greatest shame and no one wants to be reminded of their greatest shame. 2. Some of you are saying that it shouldn't be an issue since it happened years ago. The pain of being cheated on takes a long time to heal especially if you never expected that level of betrayal from the person you considered to be the love of your life, your confidant, friend etc. Your heart will always feel the pinch of someone else being chosen while you were still there. 3. It is easy to break trust and harder to regain it. Because Curtis cannot erase what happened, he has to live through each day finding ways to make it up so that pain heals quicker. I can tell you for a fact that Jackie has not fully healed. So curtis knew that this is not going to be productive especially if it is in a group setting. It was bound to trigger so many emotions and they will have to start all over again.

The woman lives in Georgia, not SC. She lives in the areas or did at the time. They had a mutual friend in the Atlanta area and met at his home. They only went to Hilton Head on vacation. Jackie knows that. It was in the woman’s interview

Let me explain this to some of you because some of these comments are ignorant as hell.
1. If someone cheats and doesn't want to go back to the place where the cheating took place it doesnt necessarily mean that he/she is still cheating. It probably represents his greatest shame and no one wants to be reminded of their greatest shame.
2. Some of you are saying that it shouldn't be an issue since it happened years ago. The pain of being cheated on takes a long time to heal especially if you never expected that level of betrayal from the person you considered to be the love of your life, your confidant, friend etc. Your heart will always feel the pinch of someone else being chosen while you were still there.
3. It is easy to break trust and harder to regain it. Because Curtis cannot erase what happened, he has to live through each day finding ways to make it up so that pain heals quicker. I can tell you for a fact that Jackie has not fully healed. So curtis knew that this is not going to be productive especially if it is in a group setting. It was bound to trigger so many emotions and they will have to start all over again.

Well, if Curtis really wanted to show support and remorse, to his loving wife, He could take his wife by the hand and give her the time of her life. Why make Hilton Head a "death site" for the rest of her life. Hilton Head is a beautiful place to visit. One woman will "not" determine where I go and hold me in capacity. Jackie should get cute and live her life. One monkey won't stop no show. I'm sure Curtis was meeting that lady in Atlanta as well.
