I'm hopefully that this episode can help you prepare for your competition and calm your nerves before your first interview. Don't forget to enjoy the moment 💕 Want more tips? Watch these >>> bit.ly/3gP7a9j
Back in the late 80's when I was a teenager doing pageants, there were no people like you to help us through it! I am glad you are here for all the young ones who may want to go the pageant route. I sure had fun!!
Thanks so much for this video, one thing I learned “The dresses we wear is always associated with what we do in life” This is so true. I’m a student, generally usually wear jeans and T shirts to school and when I went to start internship last month, it was so hard to adapt to the dress changes but I definitely learned from the workers there and still learning a lot. I think please also make another one for real life job interview, your first job after college for example.
Thanks for the information. I am currently trying to rap my head around everything. If you have time, I do have one quick question. If a contestant just started answering a DEEP question and the timer goes off within seconds into answering, then would it be better to finish the sentence or cut the sentence to make a quick important point towards the question? Thank you. 😊 ❤
Even if a timer goes off, it's acceptable to wrap up your answer in about 10 seconds or less. It's very rare that a system will instruct contestants to stop speaking, with no exceptions, when a timer goes off. If it's on stage question, that can affect a score, so I suggest wrapping as soon as possible, within 5 seconds of the bell. But, if you're practicing to keep answers under 30 seconds, then this shouldn't be an issue.
Hi Dani! I have a question about how to enter the room for your interview. Should you shake all the judges hands? Should you just say hello and start your introduction?
I find it interesting that people can speak for hours about themselves......But some of these same people can't put a simple sentence together when they're asked to speak about themselves in an interview...... Saw it all the time when I would prepare people for job interviews.
I WONDER WHY ANY OF THE QUEENS BLOGGERS DO NOT TALK IN ANY VIDEO ABOUT PUERTO RICO THEY TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING AND EVERYONES COUNTRY EXCEPT PUERTO RICO WICH IS A POWER HOUSE TOO!
@@DaniWalker Thank You for that! Sometimes is just frustrating the way everyone speaks about countries and their queens and all that and sometimes makes me think 🤔 is that people do not like us Puertoricans! I see ur videos almost every time i see the belt hoping to see Puerto Rico on the Tittle. ❤️ i do like ur content tho!
The organization doesn't call itself a beauty contest, people outside of pageantry call it that. MU wants to be the #femaleempowerment platform; that's the direction their branding is going.

I feel that. I competed from 2004-2018 and I couldn't find a resource like my channel, so I created it 💗
Confidence is the key to a great interview.
It’s essential ☺️
Excellent advice and this not only applies to pageant interview but job, volunteer, and other interviews. So helpful!
So glad to hear that! Thanks for watching :)

Road to 100K!
🥰🥰🥰
Miss USA do over (what I'd do differently) part 2 series...
I do have an episode about what I'd do differently :)
Fantastic advice, Dani! One question I have is, should pageant directors have your score sheets available after a pageant so contestants can learn?
I wish they all would but many don’t provide score sheets.
Thank you 😊
Very welcome ☺️
Hello Dani, can you please react to the Miss Lebanon 2022 competition. The winner will compete in both Miss Universe and Miss World
Hello 100K🙏

I’m so excited too!! ☺️☺️☺️
Can you talk about the new miss Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
Yes, working on it ☺️
I find it interesting that people can speak for hours about themselves......But some of these same people can't put a simple sentence together when they're asked to speak about themselves in an interview......
Saw it all the time when I would prepare people for job interviews.
It’s a strange phenomenon.

Why do they call Miss Universe a beauty contest when a whopping 50 percent of the total score is Interview?

@@DaniWalker got it.
