Talking about protecting your hearing. 40 years ago when got my first riding mower, there was so much whirling, clanging rattling noise, made me think something is going wrong with it. Got a chainsaw helmet with hearing protection and face screen and filtered out noise to just pleasant level of engine sound. Could also protect my head from limbs when mowing under trees.

Awesome setup. I don't understand the Snap-on thing. That must be a generational thing i guess. My only advice is you should abandon the 14.4 tools. They are overpriced, underpowered and lower quality when compared to Dewalt, Makita and Milwaukee.

You have a good point. I have some of each of those brands. I like different tools from different brands. None of them have a complete set that I like.

Time is money...therefore my money made from working goes into OE tools. You got ripped off bud. I got more tools than you and it probably cost one of your drawers. Not knocking you, knocking the cost of most of your overpriced gear. Just so you don't think I'm a bullshitter , I got Williams, Mayhew, Chicago pumatics, original sunex master kits, Capri, Craftsman overdrive/v series, channelock, on and on. Definitely under 10k cost..probably 6k tbh.. I wish tool truck weren't like the ignorance is bliss thing. They are blood suckers.

Sounds like you are a bullshitter, and you are knocking him. I highly doubt one of his drawers cost more than your entire set up, If your running name brand tools as stated, that's simply not the case unless your wasting most of your 'time is money' at estate sales or eBay. Nothing wrong with that, other than it nullifies your statement of time. It seems like he's very reasonable with his brand choices as a professional. It's not all SO, and he certainly hasn't gone overboard like hundreds have on these tours. Search, and you'll find plenty of guys that spent 250+k on setups. At the end of the day, it's his money, his box, and his workflow. So, if it works for him, he's simply taking his time to show guy's options and ideas that work for him. Now, with hourly rates the way they are, and the time we wasted on these comment's, he coulda bought another tool of the truck, I coulda snagged something off Zoro, and you coulda been scouring the obituaries for the next estate sale. But here we are...
