Damn.. one day late to free pattern. Very nice leather wallet. I'm not sure I would colour it. It will have natural colour over time, with stain of tears everytime you're overdraw your creditcards.... :) But really a nice piece.
Lovely item (yet again!). But I'm a little confused; why do you use such thin thread (0.6mm) in 1.5mm holes? The thread looks lost in those holes, and looks very flimsy.
Thank you.. the holes are 1mm (not 1.5mm) and I use 0.6mm thread. If you use the same size of thread... you will force the needle to come though the hole as the thread is folded...1mm+1mm=2mm. The result won't be good.

Thanks!. I use fiebing's dyes on clean, natural veg tanned leather. The cloth I use is from old cotton sheets. For stamping I use hydraulic press... Wooden stamps don't heat!

Sandpaper?😋 No! Just a cotton piece of fabric. I remove most of the color and I apply gently l... I don’t press on leather at all.

Thank you! If you dye like this you need a really small amount of material ... I used about 2 table spoons of dye for this project! 😂

More will come! Don’t worry! When I use stamps, the leather should be dyed so the stamp pops up. 😊 tears will do the job just fine though 😂
Did you make those stamps or purchase them? I am assuming they are all made on a laser / cnc machine? Either case, fantastic idea none the less.
