CREST spoke to Chathura (Associate Director, KPMG Australia & CREST Australasia Advisory Board Member) about why he pivoted to cyber security, his passion for mentoring, and why he recommends getting involved in CTF events.
Chathura Abeydeera is a CREST Certified Infrastructure Tester, a red teamer based in Melbourne, Australia. He is an Associate Director within Cyber Defense services in KPMG Australia; with more than 15 years of hands-on industry experience in cyber security. He has worked with clients across the State & Federal Government, Power & Energy, Mining, Telco and FSI sectors, specializing in red teaming and objective based penetration testing.

Hi sir ,thanks for your valuable information ❤. I'm don't have any either working experience and certification. I learn cyber security and red team by all free resources more then 3 years. Doing project regarding to red team , blogs , documenting our own red team lap setups and process of red team by our own red team exercise lap. If I done these all can i land on a RED TEAM.
I'm also intrested in joining your RED TEAM for that what are the qualifications should I have?
