How does one know which notes to add to play the more advanced version? Is there a general rule? 🤔

Hi Alexandra, the extra notes come from the G Major scale, the G Blues scale and the chromatic scale. There is a lot of space in the basic melody, the advanced version still highlights the melody while using those 3 scales to fill the space in the rhythm. That’s the basic rule, but there are many ways you could go about it!
