I am true original goan because my parents and forefathers were original goans but born and brought up in mumbai and many orignal goans people have stayed in decades in mumbai and we still say we are Goans Goyenkar and mumbai goans people are proud saying i am goans
And you think migrants want to be called goans, they love thier own village, like how you are staying in goa and still call yourself goan, some of this so called real goenkars harass migrants, will you be ok if anyone harrass you in Maharashtra or other states

Actually you should ask the elected legislatives they need to answer this first. If you really love your people and land you do not destroy it. The smallest state but the most exploited. Ask any one where you want to stay they say goa, why then they say it's not like any other part of india. All these migrants they speak konkani well and enjoy living in goa but will they stand for issues that is hurting and destroying our goa.

At 5 mins excellent individual and a good man..i have been atleast 10 states over past 25 years of my life..Given my father was in a transferable job.Having a respect for your identity is good but discrimating on basis of identity is other..that's were some politicians want to take goa to now..As a Goan i feel we need to contribute more to India rather than trying to be parochial in our Outlook..

And when was Goa name was given...its only 450 years ago..but before that it was three states to gather called as GOMANTAK...God knows who came from where...
Am a goan .....goan ancestry ,am proud to b a goan coz....I feel ,my opinion.... haven't seen any where in india people on mass scale so ,well mannered ,v graciously presentable ,down right hones not opportunist,too much greed,free riders at the cost of others .......will not drop in uninvited...list is endless...just as my love for goi and goikar is endless.....hey in the end ...

@2: 00 the girl is saying hindiwala and all that nonsense. Well people don't know that there is no particular group of population that have Hindi has mother tongue. Hindi is used to communicate between people and it is most used in the nothern states and it varies from region to region. If not Hindi then what will be your link language..China too has 100+ language but they use Chinese to communicate. Russia has 30+ and they still use Russian to communicate. Some goes for USA English is noth three national language but they use it to communicate. This indentity politics is going to divide country further.
