    Thanks for this video; I'm beginning to learn Russian, and I've been using it to practice how to connect the letters. This video has been so useful for me, using it with a notebook. You have a beautiful voice. I could recognize those phrases at the end; I've been using them, and it was amazing when I could write them, and identify them.

    I have enjoyed learning from your videos. They are so very, very well done; clear and simple! Did I say clear?! Thank you for sharing these!
    When you teach your students, do you have them take notes in print or cursive? Or is it their preference? Curious what you "require" or "suggest" at collegiate level.

      Rebecca Cagle , my students learn how to write in cursive in the beginning level. It is required to write in cursive. It takes time, but most of the students get used to it quickly. I write in cursive myself, and never type on board, so students also get exposure to cursive writing. In the intermediate level, if I have new students who were not taught to write in cursive, I do not make a big deal, but they are required to understand my handwriting. Thanks for your comment! 😊

    I have a question about this: when I write in the Latin alphabet, I tend to write similar to block letters. In my handwriting, I tend to separate most letters and most characters don't look as I was taught at school as a kid, but they are like printed letters (more or less). So, my question is: does this happen in Russian? I mean: everybody has to write cursive when they write in Russian or some people have different handwritings and some may look like block letters the same way as I do in the Latin alphabet? I hope my question makes sense. Thanks for your videos, as always. :)

    私のパソコンは、ドイツ語仕様を英米日伊仏西には拡張してあり、言語を切り替えれば、キーボード配置も自動で変わる。
    ロシア語にも拡張したのですが、キリル文字だと、キーボードの位置が大幅に変わるし、ドイツ語配置のキーボードでもわずかな特殊文字以外は打ててしまう英米伊仏西語と違って、ドイツ語配置では打てない文字の方が圧倒的に多い。
    今のところ、キーボード画面を呼び出さずに、ロシア語のキーボード配置のままでタッチタイピングはとてもできません……。

    11:49, I read on another site that "m" and "t" are given a stroke to avoid confusion: the "m" gets a horizontal stroke over the top, and the "t" underneath. Is this correct?

      @AmazingRussian  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Never heard of this.

    • @Visionery1
      @Visionery1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AmazingRussian actually, I think it should be the cursive "м" and "ш". To avoid confusion a stroke is also added to some German cursive letters (my mother adds it, but I don't).

    • @AmazingRussian
      @AmazingRussian  2 ปีที่แล้ว
