That second room made me feel sick to be honest. I'd say they were going for something "quirky" but in reality it's mismatched and messy... it even looks creepy to say the least. I wasn't too keen on the first one either. That shade of grey is very dark and it somewhat makes the room seem crammed.

Emily Garcia It's actually a very well designed interior. The problem is that the taste is too elevated for some home owners with no taste.
This seems more like someone with no actual knowing of practical interior design tried to fit their non existant taste into the house of stranger, the designer didn't know. It's not like you can't have a extravagant interior, but a bedroom is no place for so many different colours and different forms. No way anyone could sleep well in such a room.
FolivoraMaximus Considering that Most people sleep with their lights off & eyes closed, a colorful bedroom with a lot of different elements wouldn't exactly be too distracting when it comes to sleep time. There was nothing wrong with his bedroom, the owners just didn't have the taste for it.

Why is it this host thinks she knows the woman's real opinion better than her husband? That's ridiculous. I think that's the theme : "granny's room with old worsted cupboards" however, this daring style is not for conservative people; it also should be tapered down a bit (e.g. one wall only in the traditional wallpaper). Too much = stage scene for a back in times movie.

That second room made me feel sick to be honest. I'd say they were going for something "quirky" but in reality it's mismatched and messy... it even looks creepy to say the least. I wasn't too keen on the first one either. That shade of grey is very dark and it somewhat makes the room seem crammed.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the comments good & bad. Some people think this was fake, staged and scripted. It wasn’t. It was very real sadly. No we are not actors. Just ‘normal’ people. Rachel did hate it but she won’t say so. I’ve always been known for saying it how it is.
