Not gonna lie, after hearing this I was so excited for the second album and it was pretty disappointing. Even though this song is on it, the version on there lost it's rawness and appeal in my opinion. First album was unbelievable, cover to cover. She is sensational, and I figured listening to this were going to get more of her electronic style but much darker and grittier. Such a shame, but think she is working on some new music - fingers crossed!
georgehalx Literally came here to write the same thing. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?? why did they trade in the synth guitar for an actual synthesizer?? The live versions from 2014/2015 are all dark, hypnotic, sumptuous. The album version lost all of that. And the newest live versions followed suit. Such a shame. ANY of the live versions from years ago could have been a live recording on the album and it would have been better.
