Thanks for the help. I just cleaned the corona wire with a q-tip and alcohol and my printer works again. Cleanest and sharpest print in quite some time!
Ran into this issue yesterday with my MFC-9330-CDW printer. Tried all the mentioned tricks in this video. Come to find out that the electrical contacts on the black drum unit had broken. Seems the plastic cover had fallen off and then one of the spring loaded contact pieces fell out. Tried to put it back together, but without the missing plastic cover to hold the parts in place, that was a no go. Swapped that bad drum unit for a new one and problem solved. But that shows that the printers do check for some sort of electrical connection on those two drum unit contacts.
I trust the Hewlett-Packard brand so I bought another to replace mine that finally bit the dust. Love this printer! Got the free app and set it up by myself rather quickly in one afternoon, pairing it with my laptop & iPhone. Prints beautifully both from the machine, my phone and laptop.Also signed up for the automatic HP Ink & already it works! Left my printer ‘on’ & it sent the message when my ink was getting low. Well worth it.Btw, I’m a 76 yr old woman - just sayin

Thank you! My fix came at minute 3:40.....moving the green tabs to the right (eg the "wrong" position) fixed the problem!
