TAMU Core Values · EXCELLENCE · INTEGRITY · LEADERSHIP · LOYALTY · RESPECT · SELFLESS SERVICE. Our current profane and racially slurred team entrance song (Power/Kanye W-google the lyrics) at Kyle Field appears to be a questionable choice at best. Which of these highly valued ideals does the tune best represent? Should Texas A&M not strive to be part of the solution and not the problem? Is A&M really serious about "Leading The Way"? Or not?

We need more Black Label Execs in the Music Industry. There clearly is something wrong with Today's Industry. These White label execs who try to equate Skin Tone with talent is just absolutely insulting and disrespectful. It seems like the only Black Artists we see are Beyonce, Rihanna, Drake, and Nicki, the very thing they have in common is they are Light Skinned and they are Pop and Trap Artists.
It seems like Pop and Trap are the only genres we hear and R&B, Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz, and Funk are on the backburner. This shouldn't be this way.
We need Black Label Execs in the Music Industry to scope out Real Talent, There are a lot of great musicians and singers out here who deserve a chance to shine.
There needs to be more diversity Ethnically and Musically.

Beautiful! Thank you Mr. Glasper. KUM BAH YAH was stolen from the Gullah Geechie for 97yrs who are original Hebrew Isrealites, now African Americans living down south. They finally got it back last year. It was copyrighted by a white "reverend" who claimed he wrote it as a missionary in Africa.

The only racism being perpetrated in the music industry is the blatant favouritism shown to rappers who glorify the destruction of their own culture and communities. There are many black rappers who are critical of their own communities but they get black balled by the industry because media institutions want to keep black people suffering. 2pac prophesied this in his last interview.

Perfect for my dissertation! PERFECT! Racism in music education equates to racism in the music industry.
