Scars that came from a fire that started the night you were born. That fire stole everything from you - your looks, your parents, and even your family home. Now, years later, you rule over a flourishing estate with a kind heart. You've worked your way into the king's favor and have just returned from overseas on a mission only to receive a summons to the royal palace for the engagement ball of the youngest royal princess. Parties aren't really your thing, but you can't exactly say no to a royal summons. And so, you try to mentally prepare yourself for the inevitable whispers and glares. You'd think you'd be used to them by now...

Glad I got to play a part in this new video, though I will admit my voice is a bit quieter now that I've listened to it. Oh well, there's always next time but dang this man really went to a fancy party and told these nobles what's up. Now that is what you call admirable, and by god if there's another one of these I can't wait to see what this guy does next.

This. Just, the confusion in her voice. It's like she didn't even register that there *were* scars until the Duke brought them to her attention. And she still definitely didn't care.

I'm an enormous fan of dynamics between characters that are basically "One is huge, strong, silent, and the other is the one you ought to actually be scared of". Great performances from everyone!
I see scars as a sign of strength because well you survived not mention you're a walking story so remember scars don't mean your deformed it means you survived

I’m actually crying. I don’t have many scars, and none are that severe or noticeable, but I still seem to make people uncomfortable. I mean, I present as androgynous as I possibly can, wearing dresses and makeup but also having a flat chest and stubble, my fashion sence is often quite dark, and I have tics which seem to make people either hate me or just stare with this look. I don’t know how to describe it, I’ve never been good at identifying emotions, but god do I hate it. All of that mixed with severe social anxiety (and also possibly autism which makes it hard to understand people) makes me constantly worry that people are saying or thinking things like the people in this audio. But that kindness, it felt so good. I know this was made a year ago so you might not see this, but thank you.

I bet he feels more comfortable around the pirates that the king had recruited him with because some or others know what it feels like or have the same experience of what his been through .

While I don’t have burn scars, I do have a very noticeable physical deformity that I have had surgery on. I’ve pretty much thought what all the nobles were saying about myself my who life so hearing this, that it’s possible to find someone who doesn’t mind it really means a lot. :)
I really wanna see more of this story. I think the premise of the princess comforting the Duke and helping him to get over his insecurities would be a fantastic story

Honestly, I can relate with this story on a personal level. Having self esteem issues when your young because of scars sucks. Great on ya to the whole cast for the amazing ASMR. I hope this is a series that turns into at least 2 seasons.
Even a year later, this was a true banger. I really hope you do a part 2 some day. But if you never do. I'm fine with that as well.

First of all, this was a great ASMR, really just amazing. I was really drawn into it and just felt every second. When I was younger I was also bullied because of my appearance, but not because of extreme burn scars. But still while listening to this ASMR I just felt the emotions and could really relate to the Duke. Like I said it was an amazing experience, thank you Little Ragdoll, you're absolutely awesome.
And to anyone who read to the end, have a good day or night and don't forget that true beauty comes from the inside. Anyone can be nice, but to really act friendly and righteous to everyone is another thing.
The audio was great, all the different characters and the ambiance really created another world. Great job! Idk if a part 2 is planned but I feel like it would be great to focus on their relationship more. Since the duke has the traumatic backstory and the scars it could also lead into a comfort audio...? Perhaps for a nightmare or bullying of some sort. :)

Y'know this actually reminds me of a, I'll be it unintentional, side quest that actually became very plot relevant in a DnD campaign I played. (WARNING!!! Story is long so it will be bellow but TLDR: Drow scout who thought he was utterly worthless finds the love he needs from princess.)
So to start off I want to make it clear I had NEVER played a Drow before in DnD. In fact until recently I had always played one particular class and race combo. Tiefling Rogue. This time though was very...different. The DM this time was a usually rather chaotic player who pre-made us characters. In her words we "Needed to shake things up from our normal choices in DnD." So she pre-made some characters, and had us roll for what character we got. In the end our party was made up of: A dwarf cleric given to the player who usually stuck with less magic focused classes, Dragonborn monk given to the player who usually played some sort of healer or caster, a elf Paladin given to the player that usually played only human for some reason (We never asked), and finally me who rolled a 19 and a two. That meant I got the class of rogue, which The DM kinda groaned at, and the race..of Drow. A race I had never even read up on, let alone played, at the time. Needless to say everyone could see I was internally screaming at the race I had gotten. Fast forward past some of the early and unrelated stuff and most of us had reached our "master class" as i call it, minus the Cleric as they were struggling with the whole magic using class thing. I became a scout who, somehow, managed to be effective at both close and long range. I named the character Volga after a rather creepy song, but in the game it meant in Drow "Worthless". I used a hand crossbow, and a rapier with a ice enchantment I named Ishtar, and a fire dagger that I picked up literally the session before this quest started. Volga himself wore studded leather armor that looked like it had been sowed together with whatever leather he could find, had plenty of scars, and basically believed that he was as his name sake states, worthless. Up to this point it even seemed like he was, despite his stats saying otherwise. Now on to the actual story.
At this point of the campaign a good portion of us had gotten used to our character's and were pretty strong. We, the party known simply as "The travelers" had been hired by a king as security for a rather big event, his daughter choosing who she would marry. There was only really one requirement: Wear armor made for the heat. we arrived at the destined city, a Arabian inspired one, and instantly the party could tell that this place wasn't welcoming to Drow. So Volga, not wanting to cause trouble for the party, went into hiding and made his way to the palace. Once there he heard a soothing song. he eventually found the source. A beautiful elf girl all alone. Volga was just amazed by this girl, so much so he didn't realize he was out of hiding. The girl saw him and before she could do or say anything Volga booked it and went into hiding again. This time though he was blushing. "...N-No..It could never happen...why would someone like her want someone like me?" Volga said as the DM hearing this subtly smiled. Little did I know what that smile meant.
Some time latter the party introduced themselves to the king of this desert kingdom, they also mentioned that one of there party members, Volga, would be staying out of sight due to him being a Drow. The king nodded stating that "This kingdom has a bloody history with the Drow, so it would be wise for them to stay out of sight if they wish to stay alive." The king then introduced them to his daughter. Princess Istari, The girl that Volga had seen. This made Volga try to stay out of sight more, but keep a close eye on her. Istari looked at the party and frowned. The party asked why she was frowning. "I saw someone earlier today watching from atop the palace. I thought they might be with you." hearing that made Volga blush more then he already was.
skipping forward in time a bit, The event had come. As the princess stepped out Volga watched closely. Thanks to rolling a nat 20, Volga spotted several assassin's aiming at Istari. Volga without thinking Jumped in the way of Istari to protect her as he then screamed "SIR ASSASSIN'S!!!" To The king. After a boss fight where Volga continued to guard Istari, the crowd roared with cheers...then anger when they realized Volga was a Drow. Istari quickly stopped them though. "I made my choice of who I will wed. I made it sometime ago and it is non of you in the crowd. No...I choose the Drow who saved me." This caused a uproar but the princess had spoken. Once the crowd was clear Volga and Istari had a talk that was pretty close to the RP in the video, not exact though. Afterword's though Istari gave Volga something. A magic suit of padded armor called "The sand maiden armor" which actually helped his stealth even more.
