- Our team has made significant strides towards
completing Bastion Point since our last update in February.
Concrete works for levels 0 to 1 have been successfully completed, marking a significant milestone in the project’s progress.
The installation of the Structural Framing System (SFS) for levels 2 to 6 has been finished, along with the completion of structural partitions
supporting the roof slab.
The construction of the colonnade around the roof terrace at level 5 has been completed, enhancing both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the building.
Progress continues on blockwork partitions up to level 2, with facing brickwork substantially completed from the ground to the 2nd floor.
Additionally, assembly of the mast climbers is in progress, with six already assembled. Internal drainage and first-fix Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works have commenced throughout the building, ensuring the seamless integration of essential systems.
Main drainage works have been successfully completed, contributing to the overall
infrastructure of Bastion Point.
These achievements reflect our commitment to delivering a high-quality development that meets and exceeds expectations. We remain dedicated to keeping you informed as the project progresses.
Additionally, recent updates to UK legislation concerning fire safety requirements have prompted us to upgrade the sprinkler system within the building. Compliance with these regulations is of utmost importance, and we’re committed to implementing the necessary enhancements to meet and
exceed these standards.
As a result of this additional work, our completion date has had to be moved from April 5th to July 12th.
While we recognise the frustration that comes with delays, please rest assured that our team is fully dedicated to delivering a building that is compliant with all UK building regulations.
