Love your point at the end about the depop community and how you don't have to change yourself for items to sell. Thanks for bringing in another perspective in this vid! Glad I found this channel
I seem to be struggling the most with the photography process 😫 I’ve started using my Canon which I got years and years ago for Christmas but for the longest time I couldn’t work out the settings or find a good place with good lighting to shoot. I’m happy to say I’ve worked it all out now and the flat lay photos come out really nice I would say but I’m still trying to figure out what works best for me when it comes to model pics/try on pics. The lighting is an issue but it doesn’t turn out to bad on camera also with some editing they turn out ok. I’m very camera shy and even just posing in front of the camera I find quite awkward and so I really appreciate the posing ideas you shared I think that will help me lots I will try some out next week! Thanks again for the help Lucy xx
No worries- thank you for sharing this! Figuring out photography and modelling is definitely a process. As long as you stick with it you'll find you get better and better at it overtime! Best of luck with your shoots and shop! x
Thanks so much for the informative video😊 I was thinking of using professional look looking photos of models wearing the clothing I want to sell. Do you think its a good idea to do this or would you recommend I use my own photos of me wearing the clothing instead?
Your call really. It might be a shout to start with you as the model and when you have got your shop up and running look into getting models/more professional shots. If you've got the money/ or friends that are up for it upfront then go for it. The better the photos the more likely things will sell x
Thanks for sharing all this great content, I’ve just started out with depop today. I’ve listed 2 items and I am getting messages to give my email address to people that want to buy my items, is this normal. I would appreciate any advice you can share on this matter. Don
