I mean Gege wasn’t lying when he said the fight was “dishonest” cuz Gojo came with just a 200% Hollow Purple. Sukuna came with knowledge on Limitless, a way to counter it, and a revive just in case things went south.

Honestly while hilarious at first, that "laid low" Gojo sketch ain't that bad and it isn't really surprising he would put in so little effort when he likely knew that was getting a double page spread. I'm still of the opinion it is one of Gege's best spreads in the manga too, given it doesn't rely on action and needed to hit the emotional strings... which it did.
The downtown x maki/mai connection is INSANE to me, me and my older brother love gaki no Tsukai and me and my younger brother love JJK. Also it made me think Takaba might have a no laughing batsu challenge as his domain or something incredibly silly

Gege still use that niche for other character instead of Utahime. The point of the phrases in JJBA is for Pucci to get Green Baby to recognize and combine with him, evolving his body and stand power for his plan. It's still kinda same with the required chants that Gojo and Sukuna have to say to use hollow purple and world cutting slash

The karaoke thing is fun, but I’m glad he changed it. Utahime is a teacher at Kyoto, and by proxy upholds their values of tradition, conservatism, etc. It would make more sense for someone like Kirara to have a karaoke technique

Tbh that's true. We like saying "man Jogo was powerful" but we don't really get how powerful he was.
- In Attack Potency he was around Gojo's level (just look at the way he left Shibuya). Gojo could only play with Jogo because Infinity existed.
- In speed, close to Gojo, below Toji but not too much, probably along the lines of Yuji or slightly slower (Jogo DID kill Naobito, who I'll scale to Naoya, and human Naoya was being a problem for Awakened Maki)
-his CT was on the versatile side, with flames, lava, summoning volcanoes, summoning explosive shikigami, and even controlling rock inside the domain
-very lethal CT (because of burns and lava-high temperatures, discount Sukuna's Kamino), difficult to RCT through
Maybe I'm glazing but Jogo could probably outperform Uro and Ishigoori, give Kashimo a run for his money and heavily injure Yuta.
Where Jogo shines in attack potency, his durability is one of the lowest of the disaster curses. It was said that one of Yuji's black flashes could have killed him. It didn't kill Mahito or Hanami but it would have killed him. (Edit: Made a mistake. It was multiple black flashes from Yuji)
With that though, I honestly think Yuta and Kashimo would turn Jogo into fodder. Being able to fly is a major advantage against him as he can't swarm you with lava (which is why I think Kenjaku could beat him too). Both of them could avoid his attacks and then overwhelm him with their own, since he can't even land a hit against 15F Sukuna but they took on his 20F version. Also Maximum Meteor is so slow, it's almost useless.
"Gojo could only play with him because Infinity exists." Gojo without Infinity still folds Jogo, he's just way faster and more durable than him. Look what he was doing to him and Hanami in Shibuya 😂 Jogo couldn't keep up with him at all, and was ripping his own arm off to avoid getting killed. All Gojo had to do was take off his blindfold to make him sweat. Jogo is fodder to him. With Infinity it's even worse, it goes from low dif to absolute neg dif. A simple hollow purple, infinite void, or a black flash won't even leave Jogo in stains on the wall; he'd be completely eviscerated 😂 Hell Gojo can just use his barrier to crush him
gojo without infinity still way superior than jogoat tbh. His h2h combat skill, speed, and CE reinforcement is enough to bullying jogoat like sukuna did. And like sukuna said, no matter how huge the jogo's attack, it doesn't matter as long as it doesn't get hit, gojo's speed is comparable or even more than sukuna. we not even talk about blue,red,purple,domain expansion, teleport,etc
Ryu and Uru are absolute beast. If Gege let them able to fight correctly , Sukuna would be probably died now
@@dr.boring7022 Jogo can swarm you with those bugs the summoned at the start of Gojo fight, so he isn't helpless against flying opponents. Those bugs can also use sound as a weapon, so a bit more versatile. Jogo also had a really fast RCT, regrowing his arms in less than a second.
But I agree that Yuta would win against Jogo. Rika is a heavy hitter, and what abilities Yuta might use against Jogo are too different for Jogo to effectively defend against.

I understand gege's intention with the "dishonesty" point but it falls flat considering aside from the %200 purple(even that is questionable since he used that to start the battle and declare the challenger and not to gain an advantage) gojo never cheats or tricks or does anything dishonest in the fight while sukuna summons mahoraga when he's cornered in a 1v1 or abuses megumi's soul to tank for him etc..There is no reason for gojo to not utilize binding vows too. Sukuna is putting or removing time and size limits of the domain to his advantage, gojo, instead of brute forcing counters to open barrier domain could've utilized binding vows to make the outer shell just as strong as the inner shell instead of brain damaging himself to find a way. So while i understand his intention, the execution was very poor. Yuta is a way better example of a conman sorcerer.
But still, Gojo cheated in the FIRST attack, and there are still people who think that Gojo didn't attack with the intention of ending the fight.
He increased the power and hid the attack, he started the fight cheating even though he didn't do it during the fight.
imagine if the original plan was for utahime to reset the universe after Gojo's death...

The JJBA reference was specifically pucci repeating DIO’s “14 phrases” which pucci needed to repeat in order for a certain creature(not important, but his power is similar to gojo’s) to trust which was the second to last step in DIO’s grand plan.

Hey.had a question qbout megumi's domain, if he tames mahoraga ,would he be able to have an unlimited number of him in his domain?
how would pucci inspire utahimes curse technique. Pucci had three stands, white snake, c-moon, and made in heaven. White snake has the power to remove memories and stands which come out as discs. C-moon had the power to manipulate gravity and invert stuff. Made in heaven had time acceleration. I have zero clue how any of those relate to utahime.

Wild take: Gege making this latest chapter 262.5 and not 263 was done for a reason. Considering Gege left us at such a climax in yuta v sukuna fight. We are either going to see Yuta lose to Sukuna as Gojo did in Ch236( 36 reversed is 63) or Gojo gets revived for briefly to help yuta as many others are speculating.

Pucci had multiple abilities that he gained throughout Jojo pt 6 but his first one from his stand white snake is he was able to grab the memory and abilities of his target when attacking them by converting them into cds .
Gojo started the battle with a sneak attack and Sukuna ended the battle with a sneak attack. Brilliant writing connection by gege

the most shocking revelation it this video was the fact he didn't read JJBA
i always had this theory, since gege revealed that yuji was supposed to die back in the detention center, that megumi was actually the real main character of the series. not because yuji was going to die, but because writing-wise, the first character that's introduced in the story is always either the main protagonist or the main antagonist/villain. you see this trope in almost all fiction, and when you open chapter 1, we're introduced to megumi first. so it was really strange to me as the chapter progressed that yuji is actually the main character instead.
that being said, i'm quite thankful for this direction, because yuji is my favorite character in the series and i can't imagine jjk without him. and in the end, i was still right with my theory: megumi is the villain (or technically, megumi is a vessel to jjk's main villain lmao). a megumi kaisen though would be interesting.
Not all fiction just manga and shonen in particular since the readers mostly young and aren't savvy as yet for late payoffs in writing

Gege trying to reference it as a street fight with literal jujutsu professionals is not only counterintuitive to the expertise of both. But it's just a way to get around people clowning a character that he wants people to take serious
Reggie said it best, “All Jujutsu Sorcerers are con artists”. Even at the highest level of Jujutsu, combatants like Gojo and Sukuna still fight dirty to win
Please someone correct me if im wrong, but I think the sketches that you say are Megumi, are actually Yuta. Yuta was supposed to be the protagonist. And actually, Gege even said that he switched up his haristyle because it was too "Anime trope" and thats how we got current yuta. He used to have megumi's hair.
