i got the same version, WMK had to me in 3 days. the ergos are going very good for utility/scoring cuts where your index finger rests on the spine of the blade. i like mine alot but its definitely a style/specialty piece.
That's how it goes sometimes and I have a number of those. Some other reviewers have given it negative assessments but this one works perfectly well and I consider it a light duty blade. Enjoy! 👊🗡️👍
This knife is probably a good knife. I seen and heard some bad things about it like the scales collapsing but who does that anyways.? I really like the look of this life I just never got it. It’s always good to come here and listen to review some knives old sword . Thanks 🙏
Lately I've been using a medium-grit rod before moving to the high-grit one, and it makes a huge difference (if you don't have to reprofile, which on a lot of the modern steels really could benefit from diamond stones). I believe with this recurve portion you could get away with using thin, edged stones on a fixed system. Jared Neeves demonstrated it well, and is what I'll be trying eventually. Or, you can just use TOS's handy KME 3-sided recurve attachment. :)
I just got the grey Titanium Handle with S35vn ! Its my 1st Titanium Smooth handle which could get scratches if I carried it with other hard objects together! Btw how can you loosen the lock stick as it slows the thumb opening??? I've applied Nano Oil to the pivot, lock bar but not much change ... Thanks!
Usually lock stick is a condition that affects the closing of the knife and not the opening so I'm a bit confused here. Lockstick occurs at the point where the frame lock meets the blade. Some people have used a graphite pencil on the surface of the lock bar that meets the blade. If the knife is merely stiff and opening you may want to back off of the pivot screw just a bit.... If it continues to be a problem I would just send it back for a replacement or refund. Always the safest way to get some customer satisfaction!
@@OGBladeReviews I guess it's called a detent then! Just as the blade about to close or open a magnetic like pull resists the blade either way! Will this loosen up more with more openings n closings? Thanks !
It has a strong detent then! There are ways to lighten the detent but it involves bending the lock bar of the frame lock while the knife is fully disassembled. You may want to just wait until it breaks in a bit more. However you can try to locate the ball bearing detent that's on the plate attached to the lock bar and see if you can put some KPL heavyweight lube directly on it and open and close a bunch of times. That might do it but it's really a case-by-case scenario. Usually over time they break in. 👍
Just received this same variant yesterday, after months of anticipation. Love the blade although it is a fingerpint magnet, as you say, and the deployment methods necessitate touching the blade. Also, those shark teeth seem to bite at the cleaning cloth if you're not careful! The tolerances around the backspacer aren't perfect on mine, as the surfaces don't come toether tightly, leaving space for dirt to accumulate if you're not as fastidious at cleaning. Carrying a white knife requires a bit more attention, especially if used heavily; just comes with the territory. It's a trade-off for a clean, modern look, and I won't be using mine to gut deer. Of course, there's Oxblood Dye.
I'm really luvin that blade design...artisan cutlery have some gorgeous designs
An interesting knife! The blade is definitely unique in shape. Great video 👍
Very cool design

That’s the main color combination version for the Great White representation. You can even see the eye 👁️ of the shark 🦈
I bought this knife based on your review. I doubt it ever sees any pocket time but I felt my collection needed it.

Picked one up from WMK. Beautiful looking, but it will be a shelf queen. Great video!

That thing about the scales was way overblown. It's a lightweight and useful for that purpose. Much ado about nothing.... 🤔🗡️👍
What's the move here Dave? A rod for the recurve portion and a stone for the forward flat edge? Thanks!
Just don't let it get dull! 😅 Actually a ceramic rod works on a straight edge, too. Or just just my handy KME 3-sided recurve attachment... 👍🗡️👊

For me this one's pretty much just a looker. Got so many others that are users. Anyway it was interesting enough to pick one up. 👍🗡️👊
Very nice to look at, but with its narrowing "tail end"and smooth scales, I'd hesitate to use this one tactically.
Wouldn't be my first choice as a "tactical" knife. I see it more as an art piece at a reasonable price. Good EDC slicer, however, I feel.
