Thanks for well written summary of Alfeed Eisaenstadt David ✨ 60 yrs and 90 Life covers...35 mm Leica to start...amazing. Watched it twice! Last winter started studying history photography.. Really enjoyed this!!! 📸 🩷
@MicahScottPnD yes! Can get technically tedious but then just go spend time with another great photog/artist/photojournalist. So many great free TH-cam segments and documentaries out there too! The whole invention of photography 🤯. In awe...but then I think about early souls blowing ashes on their hands in Lascaux and other caves..."I was here" now how can I show it even better... Stories to tell!
I think that his emotions he spoke about helped him take great photos. The eyes see, but the feeling tells you when to press the shutter button. Thanks, David. 🩵
Alfred Eisenstaedt develops a real knack for taking photographs like you have a real knack for interviews. You know when it's time to put a story together what will move the viewers or audiences. Alfred Eisenstaedt new how to capture emotions through the lens of his camera. Thanks David.
@@MGMG-lc2fe It's very kind of you to say, as I think back on today, I would say it has been a good one thanks MG I hope pleasant dreams fills your night sleep. 😊🧡✌🛌
It is thrilling to listen to someone speak about doing the thing they were crafted for. Fascinating description, and film clip. It was nice to settle in with, this evening thank you Mr. Hoffman ✨
A moment i could really relate to: "Why the plastic bags?" "Where should I put them?" 🤣😂🤣 This is what life in unchartered territory sounds like! Then you know you're doing something new and innovative 😂👍
The plastic bag answer was spot on. A sixty year career is more than amazing: His photos came from his heart and not many have that trait. I love his WW11 photo of The Kiss.❤ He's such an inspiration. Thank you David. Life magazine was so fortunate to have hired him-- he was a shining star. His eyes told him "That would be a great photo of the moment."
I wanted to add that years back, you could order a Life magazine for the year you were born. My mom ordered one for me ( not saying who is on the cover🙂,) and one for the years my sons were born. What treasures.❤

Great proof that artists will overcome any shortfalls. Thank you David.
Thank you David. The eyes of the Japanese man were chilling! There was a depth, a void of humanity that scared me.
