Though its been over 60 plus years, sinced I learned to my jigs, it is lovely to see the beaitiful steps in their format, as natural as could be.performed. Back to basics highlighting just how rhythmic showing the beautiful authentic steps are and were danced. From the dress length to uour natural hair it's wonderful to see.It vaught a tear along with the wonderful memories of old classmates teachers and how myself and sisters danced. It was wonderful, it has been many years well done girls and congratulatiions to all.
Anna McGiubbin is a brilliant dancer but that last dancer is basically a dancing a step sort of stolen from Royal Tara, and I know why and i will explain why that teacher had such a problem with Royal Tara. At the Gold Medal competition, it was announced it was a unanimous decision that she won, when one of the adjudicators didn't have her in 1st from Royal Tara and told her that.
I don't appreciate this at all I don't think different styles should be compared as I do both styles and mainly I would rather have festival style I would not like this to be saying infront of me that would make me sad so please take your negativity some place else

Feis style (which I did) could stand to return to these roots a little, especially the costumes. This feels more like the folk dance it used to be.
