Im going southampton in september and am currently looking for accoms. Has much chnaged for this accomodation list over the year and also do you know why monte isnt on southmaptons website?
Monte is just wessex lane so it should be called that! Not much has changed except pricing, and Wessex now also has an enhanced plus non ensuite which is super new!
I recently got an offer from Southampton, and I was wondering what the workload is like? Also, are Monte and Archer's Road close-ish to Avenue campus? x
so workload for me doing psychology isn't much at all but i know people doing engineering have a lot more lectures and some subjects have a lot of reading. monte isn't close to avenue campus (25-30 minute bus) archers is definitely much closer so around 15 minutes by bus!
Hey I'll be staying in Monte 2, could be please tell me about the sharing condition, like how many rooms would be there in a flat and how may flats on a floor. Also between how many people would the bathroom and the kitchen would be shared? Thanks
So it was 7 people per flat with 1 room with a toilet + sink and 1 room with a shower + toilet. Each flat has its own kitchen so you shate with those 7 people. And then per floor I think there were up to 4 flats!
just got offered monte 2 for £121 a week and this was so reassuring. very excited for uni now :) ive heard that there might be groupchats for the accom before you go. do you know anything about them? id love to join some.
normally the groupchats start on facebook! facebook.com/groups/southampton2022/ this link is one of the chats and from there people will add you to whatsapp etc!
Hi so it depends what contract you pick! You can chose 36,38,40,52 weeks but you can also pick 36 for example then extend it for three weeks. So no maximum weeks but 36 minimum I think
hey hope you are doing well. I wanted to know about the perks of staying in uni accommodation?, I got to know they will provide unilink bus pass. But other than that what else is there? Am i going to miss any events or programs if i stay in other accommodation? How is the food is wessex lane halls? (the part catered room for 154 pounds/week, is it worth it?) Waiting for your response. Take care.
so there are no perks other than the bus pass. and nope you wont miss anything staying in different accommodation. each one has its own nightlife etc. not too sure about the food but i have generally heard there are good choices, it depends if you wont want to cook then part catered might be a good idea but i love the independence of cooking
me watching this having just left monte 3 (it was amazing i recommend so much)

@@saskiahdlt this is a long shot, but do you know anything about how much reading there is for philosophy? Thank you, that's really useful x
@@gabriellemia6660 not too sure but i get the feeling it would be quite a bit of reading and theory

I got glenn eyre Chancellors court
then they changed it to New Terrace
Which one is better?
Thank you very much for the video
Which one is near to engineering at Highfield
For Highfield you could do Glen or Wessexor Highfield Hall, maybe even Archers Road at a stretch. Those are the closest
Can you please rank private accommodation in Southampton 😊

Do you know anything about Connaught Hall? I've heard it mentioned online but I can't find much info on it.
I know it is right next to Wessex and catered but thats about it
Hi so helpful! How bout wessex standard studio flat? Is it okay?
Haven’t heard anything about studios but I think anything in Wessex is good!
