    The Factory Effex Goggle Quick Straps system works with most goggle brands and allows you to easily remove your goggles with one hand. Doing this keeps goggles safe and clear of fogging. When you’re ready to go, just grab the tab, pull the goggles over the eyes, and attach back to the Velcro patch on helmet. Factory Effex Goggle Quick Straps are perfect for off-road, MX, UTV, ATV, and snowmobile enthusiasts.

    Is there a version that uses 2 clips instead of the Velcro?

    I put them on opposite so I don't have to take my hand off the clutch or have it in neutral!

      Doesn’t appear to as the Armegas don’t have a strap slot that goes all the way thru. The cavity the strap secures to is enclosed (not pass thru) and seems to use some glued in metal crimping that the strap is fastened to.

      Do you mean just have the goggles secured but facing backwards? If so, sure you could do that.

    Have you installed these on a set of 100% Racecraft 2 goggles? It doesn't look like the original strap would remove easily from the goggles and also that the quick strap would not install correctly. With most goggles the strap goes through an opening and the Racecraft 2 does not have an opening, only a slot.

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven't put them on that goggle and yes, some goggles are pretty tough to get the strap out and don't work that well.

    • @TheSanDiegoSteve
      @TheSanDiegoSteve 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All the goggles I've installed quick straps on needed to have the original straps cut off. No big deal - I'll never go back to regular straps. Then just thread the new straps through that slot. It's tight, but you can do it. You kind of use those black clips to help lock the strap to the goggles. 👍

    Velcro absolutely sucks! It lasts about 200 pulls and then it’s finished! They should have offered an option with dual pin locking straps…

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Personally, of those two helmets, I would choose the ATR-2. It's lighter and I really like the fit. Both have great safety features and as to which is safest, that is all personal opinion. I do like the looks of the Bell more, but I'd probably go with the ATR-2. - Chase

    Factory Effects lacks a truly detailed installation video guide. While I appreciate this review it also lacks sufficient installation detail to the goggles themselves (the helmet attachement looks simple). Thanks

      @@robh3267 it's more tondo with how velcro works or doesn't once it's full of dirt or mud. It stops working. Maybe you don't ride in bad conditions.

    • @JpOcDenver
      @JpOcDenver 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@nathanscott6084 if the goggles are ON while riding in those conditions, then it’s not an issue since the Velcro is essentially sealed to itself. And before you say it, yes the very outer ring might be slightly penetrated with dirt and mud but the majority would be left clean and allow them to remain fully functional. So, not useless.

      Ooohhh ya…..because the conditions in the UK are so extreme……
      They seem to work everywhere else…….just be careful….if you ride in the UK one time…..they will be useless. You have to wonder why manufacturers avoid testing their products in the the UK……perhaps those conditions are so extreme that nothing works after one use…..
