@@MRios1128Lol how was it not? Too close when Fed was 38 years old, indeed. Two match points at Wimbledon 2019, and he swept the ATP Finals' floor with Novak at the age of 38. The matchup was pretty close. Just a shame Roger had to play prime Novak for so many years into his (late) thirties!

@@felixy23 I understand your pov but I disagree. His 2004 victory at the AO is more impressive, he defeated 3 Grand Slams winners and former world N1 (Hewitt, Ferrero, Safin, plus Nalbandian which is a great player). 2007 is also more incredible than 2010, even if his opponents were not the best ones he won the tournament without dropping a single set, the only one to did that this century. He beat a young but good Djokovic in the third or fourth round, demolished an incredible Roddick in the semis (6/4 6/0 6/2, winning 11 consecutive games), one of the most dominating performance ever, taking account the tournament and the player.

2015 shows that Federer was just as good if not better in his 30s than Djokovic in his 30s. He just had tougher rivals, including peak Djokovic, and still managed to consistently dominate the tour and be Djokovic's toughest rival.
Djokovic comparatively has no serious rivals in his 30s, besides Alcaraz who is just getting started.
These two are the two best in history in my opinion. I prefer Federer, and I believe his peak is the best tennis ever played, but Djokovic has better stats now. Best to enjoy Djokovic before his legendary career comes to an end just like Federer's did.
