You did an extra "lap", sort of? I have to add I play this myself on piano. It seems most play it better than Philip Glass himself. lol 😉. Mind you, the genius is in the composition, not in the playing, which once you master the 3 against 2 polyrythm is quite simple😃
I could never play those accented arpeggios the way they need to be to bring out an underlying melody. I had to.look at the score before I realized how it was done with two hands. Michael Reisman was born to play this piece on piano!
In the pipe organ music you can keep your Bach, Beethovan, Mozart, Chopin, Handel, and Tchaikovsky. I will take Philip Glass pipe organ music over any of them.
This deserves more views. Great performance.
Beautiful expression of this transcendental composition.
It's incredibly beautiful.

Just like " Mad Rush" belongs on.the organ " Opening" needs the piano.
But, a great performance!
Just a Genius !
is grzywaczyk czech or polish?
This is the true face of GOD.
It's quite a simple tune really, so that might be a little bit of an exaggeration. Now Koyannisqatsi is another thing altogether ...
@@SearchBucket2 I can't play it!
Those accented arpeggios- that bring out the underlying melody- make it sound like three hands are playing!
