Vraiment réussi ! On est plongé dans l'époque, la "France profonde" et rurale, avant la grande boucherie... Le choix du muet est raccord, et laisse parler l'image. Les décors, personnages, détails, sont léchés. Je retrouve l'ambiance et la tendresse de "Jour de fête" de Jacques Tati, sorti en 1949. Déjà 4 fois que je visionne ce short, immense bravo à l'équipe.
Je viens de revoir "14" cette fois ci j'ai regardé les détails.Et quels détails.......C"est impressionnant,tout est minutieux ,jusqu'à la lune scintillante dans la nuit.......chapeau les créateurs.

I saw it first about 5 years ago ,and it wasn`t called `14` then . In fact a lot of people commenting didn`t realise the connection with the start of World War One in 1914 ,when many of these young men went to fight. In fact the winner that year died in the first few months .
1914. A few weeks or months later World War I (known then as "The Great War") broke out. All the cyclist and the kid with the bugle were in trenches shooting at Germans. Most of them were dead by 1917.
