Thank you so much. I have been looking for this answer for months. Followed your steps. It worked. However, need to be patient. Once reboot, my Samsung screen displayed only Samsung logo and stayed there for quite some time, probably a few minutes before "Starting Android Phone" and "Lets Go" screen. So I needed some patience to wait for such screen to appear. You are the best, bro.

There s a message if choose "wipe data / factory reset" which reads as "If your phone is reset, you may need to enter the Google account information (email address and password) associated with this phone to be able to use it again". Qs:- How to bypass that?
